I bought this with a view to using it instead of a diary but it really doesn't make a very good substitute.
I opted for the light green version which looks cheap and nasty but it was the only colour in stock at the time. The first thing that struck me was the fact that the fold-over cover wouldn't last long - it didn't.
The little stylus is a devil to get out of it's hole if you don't have nails, and easy to lose when you do manage to retrieve it.
Function wise, it does everything it says it does, much the same as every other PDA. It is easy to use, the icons are clear to understand and there are drop down menus a la windows. There are lots of programmes available on the internet to download for it, but they tend to use up loads of memory. The 'hotsync' cradle idea is good and means that you can back it up easily.
On the down side, you need to back it up regularly as it goes through batteries like there's no tomorrow. I still use a diary, and the last time the batteries (which are one of those strange sizes you never have in the house) ran out on me, I didn't bother replacing them.
Another gadget bites the dust I'm afraid - I wouldn't have one given!

Shame you didn't write this a few weeks ago as I just bought something similar from EBay. I would have taken it off your hands as I use mine all the time. I must admit I use mine mostly for games though but the calendar function is very useful, particularly for birthday reminders. Why don't you try selling yours on EBay if you don't use it anymore. You might at least get some money back that way. Jo
