I came across the Pixies several years ago. My brother was a big fan, and once I pinched one of their CDs and listened to it. I found it really weird, but I started to love it.
I discovered them far later than their split up in 92... But anyway...
They release 4 albums:
-Surfer Rosa
-Doolittle
-Bossa Nova
-Trompe Le Monde
On top of that you have a couple of best of, live and B-sides albums. Then in May 2004, they released their first DVD.

The settings are relaxed but fun and children are encouraged to play so that the photographer is able to capture the perfect natural picture. Pixi Photo offer many different offers/VIP specials to suit the type of photo shoot you want. They are popular and well distributed, I found the branch I used in my local Mothercare store.
First and formost I must say that the photos that I purchased were beautiful and decorate my living room wall today. I found the staff in the branch I visited to be knowledgable, helpful and friendly.
I purchased a VIP card which enabled me to have three separate sittings with a free Large photograph each time and no obligation to purchase any other photos. I believe this VIP card cost me about £20 ...

Having completed my collection of studio albums by Pixies, I'm always looking for something new, especially as merchandise is a pain to track down. (Nearly 2 years for a poster!!) However, today was my lucky day as I discovered two other recordings to add to my collection, at a CD fair in Leeds. What luck.
The first one of these CD's is Transatlantic. This is basically a Pixies live CD, from the Doolittle tour in 1989. The two gigs it is made up of were Chicago, Illinois, and Vienna, Austria. Most of the tracks are from the first gig, with just a handful at the end from Vienna.
For those of you that don't know much about Pixies music, they were about in the late '80's-early '90's, led by Frank Black, or Black Francis ,as he was then. Their style of music is pretty rock based, coupled with grunge, and a few country hints ...
