BACKGROUND
********************
I am a bit of a gadget nerd. I love gadgets. When I see one I don't need, I'll find excuses to need one.
I started a new job few months back, and I saw one of my workmate pluggin a PDA to a craddle everyday, until the day I asked him about it.
When he showed me, I thought that was really cool, and I wanted one. I bloody hardly knew about PDAs!!!
Anyway, I searched for the same as his, a Palm Tungsten T3, but it was apparently discontinued... SO I started a painstaking search for the new gadget of my dreams (needs): A PDA. Ta da da...

After a few weeks browsing around, I came to the conclusion that the cheapest and apparently most suitable for my needs was the Tungsten E2, that I bought from Pixmania.com (reviewed by me in previous episodes, check it out...).

LOOKS
************
It is a PDA (Personal DIgital Assistant for the one who wondered), which means it is a pocket-sized organiser. the size is as follows: 11.4 x 7.8 x 1.5cm. It weighs 133g.
The screen takes almost the whole of the face, and you have a few clever buttons (shortcuts) at the bottom. You also have a directional cross to move your cursor on the screen.
You have the power button, earphone plug and SD card slot on the top. The one I have comes in silver colour.

WHAT DOES IT COME WITH
***********************************
That is what you have inside the box:
- the PDA
- a stylus
- the charger (with several socket adaptators, for travellers)
- the sync cable (used to connect to your PC
- a CDrom to install the program needed, and with the manual.
- a screen protector (sheet of transparent plastic you need to stick on your screen)
- a leather flap: it basically protects only the screen
- various stickers showing how to write letters and symbols with the stylus

RESPONSE
******************
After a few months using it, I find the PDA quite fast and really pleasant to use. The screen is clear, and the colours nice.
It has done all what it is meant to do so far, without crashing or anything.
As soon as you press the start button, you go back to where you were when you last switched it off.

PRICE
***********
I just checked pixmania, and they sell it for £133.90 (without p&p).

MY OPINION
*****************
I am a virgin when it comes to PDAs. Also, I do not like spending times trying to understand how things work. It needs to be clear, easy and efficient.
The main thing I got this for is the calendar. I am a professional magician, and I need to be able to see when I have gigs, how long, contacts of the customers etc etc quickly and efficiently.
I must say that I am pleasantly surprised by the E2. It is super easy to get used to, it does what it says.
Also, it connects to outlook, so all your address book gets backed up in a flash, which is great.
I've had it for a few months, and am very happy with it.
I also downloaded games of the net to put on it and it works fine.
The battery life is great too. But so far I still haven't used all of what this baby offers... So I still have a lot to learn from it.
As a 1st PDA, this seems to be perfect... but again, I can't compare it to anything else.
I just wanted something simple and handy.
I got a metal case on Ebay for a tenner, as the leather thingy doesn't protect the whole PDA...

Well, that was it, thanks for reading... hope that helped.
