I have had my E2 for about a year and it is still going really well. Having had different types of memoryelectronic gadgets llike electronic diaries and such, this was exactly what I was waiting for.
The PDA feels good in your hand, it feels ergonomically right, it has substance like a quality product. This may sound a strange description, but sometimes it is good to feel something that feels well built and strong, not flimsy and plasticy.
I am the type of person who really can't be bothered reading instructions, I am sure there are lots of you out there that feel the same. It is so simple to use, even the most basic understanding of gadgets will have people very familiar with what this PDA can do within an hour. Navigation is easy, the different programs are easy to use.
I work shifts and I managed to get a whole years worth of shift pattern onto my calender within 20 minutes. It is that easy to use. It offers the right tools to do the job. Instead of entering single days, it allowed me the option of entering blocks of days, cutting time entering data by a massive amount.
The screen is bright and clear, with excellent clarity for a PDA. I put pictures of my kids on as screen savers and it is pin point sharp and very bright with equal shading right around the screen.
The battery life is superb, I only need to charge mine about once every 10 days. What does seem to drain the battery significantly is the MP3 player, which really is pretty obvious.
The software is top notch, I managed to put my CV from Word onto my PDA and it looks exactly the same as on my PC. It also has Versamail and if you connect up with a phone/pc/router you can send SMS. The Bluetooth is very good and I have had no problems connecting to othe stuff, apart from my new N80 handset.
The MP3 player is very good and uses Real Player software, loading songs, pictures and video clips is no real problem and can be viewed easily with good clarity.
Recommend this PDA to anyone, it is very reasonably priced and is bagged full of applications. Go buy.
