This model take SD Memory cards witch is know the leading type of "Flash" style memory. They can be purchased in 16, 32, 64, 128 and 512Mb donomatsions the cards are very cheap up to the 128Mb mark when at the moment you would be looking at around £45 but i would seriously avoid the 512Mb at this time as you could be looking at around £155 so simply buying two 128Mb would be cheaper although possibly slightly anoying changeing cards. My final note of cosion on this section is to state that transfering to SD memory cards useing the docking stasion takes a very long time consider useing a meory card reader write an 8 in 1 universale reader writer can be purchased for aroun £35 and will cut down on your transfer times.

Palm have finaly gotten rid of the old dragon ball procesors and opted for i high speed texan proccesor witch improves the speed dramticly. I have found my self being bale to get aroun 150Mhz or more out of this witch isnt bad. Dealy times for loading are vertualy non exsitant now.

The Tungsten T2 has a good qoulity Hi-Res Tranflectrive display it shows up well in most condisions in conparison to older models this scrrens only superiore is the Tungsten T3.

One thing that palm got 100% right is the look and feel of this palm top it feel solid but un cluttered there exsteranl card buttons are few but functional and the 5 way navigatore is great for single handed use. The slideing pannel that conseales the writeing area is well constructed and also feels sturdey and closes furmely with a good click.

The latest version of the Palm operating systeam Version 5 is installed on this device and works well. It works well to incorparte the new hi end feature like Bluetooth whilst still allowing you to load your classic programs, although it alows lots of the Palm os 1 and 2 programes some are not compatible.

I frequintly use my palm as an Mp3 and video player to avoid the exspenc and hassel of carryinga nother device and this works well apart from one small progrlem i occasonly find that the output from the palm is not as loud as i would like whilst useing with headphones although the qoulity is not impeared.

I found that their is resonable rand of acessories availble although some of the best are not produce by palm. I purhcased palms balck rubber case for my palm top and althouhg it dose provide extra protecsion when wearing a suit it weight it down considerable more, there is a clare plastic clip on cover provided that although dose not look that good i have found increadibly usefull despite many people dis like it prevent the screen on my palm from considerable damage whilst in you pocket.
One final item I would recomend is a keyboard at roll mat gabric keyboard can be purchased for around £15 and works quite well if you have more money to spend for £70 you can get a mini folding keyboard that is a smaller sized version of the one you have on your desk top and your palm simply rests in its docking stasion. Finialy for you seriouse gadget nuts for £90 a wirless folding keyboard useing either Infa REd or buletooth to connect can be used and makes a nice easy to use aditsion although consumes your palms batter power a lot.
