Palm Tungsten T5

As someone who constantly forgets meeting addresses phones numbers I decided maybe it was about time I bought something the might be able to help me organise my life. I chose Palm over Pocket pc because as an Apple Mac user Palm offered Mac Syncronisation oug of the box (more on this later). I first bought the T5 a couple of years ago for around £200 off amazon. I hold Palm OS devices in very high regard, as I feel it is the best operating system for mobile devices. Starting up any Palm OS device is incredibly simple. You calibrate the touchscreen in 3 moves, set the time and date, and bingo! THere is also a quick tour program, for complete newbies to palm os. The purchase brief when i was looking for a new PDA was to have all the usual functionality a PDA offers with it being compatible with both PC and Mac with minimal fuss. I also wanted a navigation system to go with it. This is described in the TOMTom Navigator 5 section as well as here. I've been using my T5 for about 9 months now and its definitely come in handy. You can synchronise with Outlook so you can carry around your email, tasks, contacts, memos, and create new Outlook items on the PDA and synch the other way too. There is a wide range of products you can download from Palms website, including various organisers, converters and games. All priced within £4.99 up to £24.99. And of course you can download and install free demos before buying. It says it comes with 256MB of space but its actually 215MB of accessible storage space.
