I upgraded to the Palm V when it first came out from an original PalmPilot. I had used the pilot extensively but the V had one major advantage; size. I wouldn't carry the Pilot in my shirt pocket as it was slightly too large, but the V is ideal. I carry it whilst at work continuously. This means that whenever I get stopped whilst away from my desk, I can agree to attend a meeting and book it there and then, or search for the info someone has just asked me and I recalled making some notes on eighteen months ago. When I get back to my desk, I drop the V onto its cradle and press a button - thats it! Within a few seconds, all of my addresses, diary dates, notes and to-do items are coordinated with Outlook. There are also more add-on programs available for this little puppy than you can shake a stick at, and most are available to try before you buy (if they're not free anyway).
