Is it any good? *************** I first bought this so I could use it to moisturise my skin after a shower. But I found it too rich and didn't absorb quick enough before I had to get dressed. I would often feel a bit clammy with all my clothes on, not a good thing. Plus the smell of the cocoa butter is quite strong and as it's also an artificial scent, I think it somehow reacts with the skin, warm temperature or something, because the scent gradually changes into some annoying aroma that puts you off sitting near to anyone for the worry of smelling like you had terrible body odour or something. This, I never bought again for a while.
However, last month, I was in desperate need of something for my hands and this was the only thing affordable thing on the shelves. It claimed to have a new formula and this time I could feel a better difference. The cream was slightly lighter in texture and absorbed quicker than before. This is quite a rich cream so does still take some time to sink in, once it has - there is no greasiness, unlike its consistency from before. The scent is less pungent, lighter and still the delicious cocoa butter aroma - quite a chocolaty feel, if you don't like chocolate it can make you feel sick after a while, but it is still mainly a cocoa butter scent so it's quite pleasant.
As a moisturiser, it's ok. It gives immediate relief for my dry hands but I don't feel that it's a 'proper' moisturiser - one that hydrates deeply into the skin. It feels more like a barrier cream, although it is definitely more than that. However, this seems to wash out quite easily - after washing my hands, I often have to reapply this again, so I am sure that this doesn't nourish right down deep into the skin as I had hoped.
Cost? ****** This costs around £2.19 for a large 250ml which I think is a bargain considering that all the other moisturising cost the same but only for around 50ml.
Final Thoughts... **************** A good soother for the skin but not a true moisturiser.
Advantages: smoothes and blends scars and stretchmarks Disadvantages: smells so good and tempting you could eat it....
...apply a thin layer of palmer's cocoa butter. This smoothed out the scars, and due to getting out of habits easily, I eventually stopped using it. Finding it out of a drawer in the past fortnight, I decided to try and get rid of my scars for good, and twice a day I have been rubbing it on my arms and finding the results really working. Here, in this review, I will describe to you this miracle cream and tell you what it does, how it does it and all ... ...the jar version of the palmer's cocoa butter and the cream inside is in one semi solid lump. If you drop it on the floor, it doesn't spill everywhere or go all over the place in the jar itself. It stays in one solid lump which I find very effective and useful, because I hate creams getting stuck in the edges round the top of a lid. When you look in the tub and see the cream, your first thoughts are am I going to be able to get the cream out because ...

Advantages: Blends scars, softens skin, hides stretch marks Disadvantages: Can feel a bit sticky
I've been using this stuff for a few years now and I love it :) I first bought some from Body Care when I was killing time and smelling all moisturisers in the shop (...like you do) and I stumbled across this little beauty! My first thoughts were 'this smells like chocolate truffles!!' which is a good thing, I read the front - 'Smoothes marks - tones skin' which I needed, being at that age where stretch marks were really starting to show, plus I ... ...The back says - 'Palmers cocoa butter, enriched with vitamin E, is an advanced moisturiser that softens, smoothes and relieves dry skin. Also helps smooth and blend unattractive marks and scars. An excellent after tanning butter. Widely recommended for stretch marks, during and after pregnancy. Use daily for a soft, youthful appearance.'
So what more could you want? Its great on stretch marks, scars, dry skin, uneven skin tone, etc. Fanstatic stuff!! ...

Advantages: Great creamy, thick texture. Good purchase price. Last along time, the smell of the product! Disadvantages: As the bottle gets towards empty it is difficult to get the last bits of cream out
It was when I returned from a holiday and went to see a friend that I first discovered the wonderful world of Palmers Cocoa Butter. At the time I was experiencing horrible peeling skin and had a rapidly disappearing sun tan when my friend advised me that I needed to slap some moisturiser on and quick! I informed I had but she went and got me her regular moisturiser from her bathroom cupboard, this was the Palmers Cocoa Butter, since that day and ... ...using the Cocoa Butter.

Advantages: amazing effects, smell, very cheap Disadvantages: none!
...have also started using the palmer's coco butter oil every now and then after a shower, this helps your skin to retain even more moisture so it's even softer. Also I regularly exfoliate ( Boots exfoliating gloves and Original Source almond scrub if anyone's interested!) which I think helps with the coco butter to make my skin really soft. I honestly can't find anything bad to say about this product, it has done so much for my skin, I would definitely ...

Advantages: Adds a gloss and sorts out you chap straight away. Disadvantages: None
This review is about the Palmer's CocoaButterFormula. Lip Butter. (Dark Chocolate and Peppermint).
I first brought this product in Dubai with the body butter (in the new pump bottle, which i will review soon).
I needed something for my lips because they was drying out and i was not happy with my regular twist up lip balm. I find these types of lip product leaves white bits on your lips. Not attractive.
When i got this i tried it our straight away and i loved it. It smells more of peppernmint than dark chocolate. Very nice indeed. It comes in a convenient tube so you can easily put it in your handbag and this product lasts for ages.
This leaves no white marks and as an added extra it leaves a lovely gloss on your lips. It conditions your lips and leaves them feeling soft and smooth. You could even use this instead ...
Advantages: Moisurises, easily absorbed Disadvantages: Smells chemically, expensive, doesn't work
Being a sucker for free samples, I was thrilled to receive a small tube of Palmer?scocoabutterformula massage cream for stretch marks in one of my free pregnancy packs. Although I?m only 16 weeks I have a massive bump and had been using Palmer?s standard lotion (which smells gorgeous) but hasn?t done anything to stop new stretch marks from developing. I was hoping as it?s advertised specifically for stretch marks that this concentrated cream would do a better job and as things stand I?m not sure it really does.
The cream itself is very thick and a sort of off-white colour, not the most attractive looking but not the least either. Smell-wise it?s nothing like what I was expecting, the ?normal? Palmer?s body lotion smells delightfully of white chocolate, but this smells medicinal, almost like a hospital smell. There?s not a hint ...
Advantages: Moisturises, no stretch marks yet Disadvantages: Don't like the smell
Ahh, stretch marks. There's nothing pleasant about them, they're ugly, unsightly and anything I can do to prevent them will be most welcome. That is why I purchased a bottle of Palmer's CocoaButterFormula for Stretch Marks.
I bought this because I've known of this brand for a very long time and it seems to be a well trusted, widely used product so I was excited to try it. The bottle I bought seemed to definitely be for pregnant women as there is a drawing of a image of a pregnant woman on the front although I assume you could use this product even if you weren't pregnant to use on existing stretch marks as it says on the bottle that is helps reduce the appearance of stretch marks.
