Advantages Under £1 to buy, scent lasts a long time

Disadvantages Can take a while to dry underarm

Deodorant is one of lifes little essentials and over the years I have tried many in my quest to be dry and smell pleasant.

I am not a fan of deodorant sprays, they always seem to leave white powder under my arms and I also seem to be quite incapable of spraying it just on me and get a lot more in the air so its also a waste me using them so I always buy roll ons.

Now my boyfriend has a habit of running out of deodarant and then starts to use mine due to this even with me teasing him that he will smell like a girl.

Last month I went to use mine to find that not only had he finished his off he had also used the last of mine so I had to make a mad dash to my local Boots (nearest chemist to me) to obtain some more but they didn't have my usual brand.

I was quite disappointed about this and spent about 10 minutes trying to decide which to pick before finally settling for the Palmolive Soft & Gentle Soft Jasmine Roll-on which at the time of purchase cost me 92p.

The deodorant advertises that it acts as a 24hour odour and wetness control roll on so I felt safe that it would do it job.

Upon smelling it it has a lovely floral fragrance, its not too strong and has a womanly feel about it, I have also noticed that it blends really well with my perfume of choice Ghost Cherish.

When I put it on I do find that its very wet, it seems to take a while to dry so I have to wait a few minutes before I put a top on otherwise it will stick and leave a damp mark but once it does dry its clear and leaves no white marks.

The smell does last well though, probably for about 12 hours on a day where I have been active but longer on a more relaxed day, I have gone to bed before and still been able to catch its scent when moving my arms.

On the wetness front its brilliant, I haven't had any embarrassing incidents with sweaty patches and can't fault it.

I am actually really glad that my usual brand wasn't there as this is cheaper and works just as well and I really like the smell so will be sticking with the product.
