Advantages: Easier to pin on a wriggling baby Disadvantages: Expensive
Pampers active fit are one of the most expensive nappies on the market. Actual price per nappy does vary a lot according to the size you buy, where you buy them and how big the pack size is, so it's difficult to give a precise price, but for comparison purposes in my local Sainsburys this week they've got a 2 for £16 offer on economy packs of Active Fit.
In size 4 (the one my son uses) you get 46 nappies in an economy pack so that's ... ...with the offer. With "normal" Pampers baby dry you get more nappies in a pack for the same price (clever marketing huh?) so they cost 0.14p a nappy before the offer.
So what do you get for your extra 5p a nappy? Well active fit have stretchy elastic bits round the legs, designed for toddler movement, and a more stretchy waistband - the bit the velcro is on. That's the main difference. This does make them easier to get on, ... more

In size 4 (the one my son uses) you get 46 nappies in an economy pack so that's 0.19p a nappy, before the offer (the packs are normally £8.69 each) and 0.17p a nappy with the offer.
This does make them easier to get on, especially when your baby is crawling away from you as you are trying to fasten it.
In terms of baby moving around, mine seems to be able to clamber everywhere in the Baby Dry nappies just as easily as these. I've never had a problem with normal Pampers not being absorbent, or falling down or anything, and these are at least as good, if not better.
I think it is probably the case that in the event of total poo explosion (you know the ones that go right up their backs etc) these are a bit better than ordinary nappies at keeping it all in. Since I'm quite rubbish as continuing this trend whilst changing said poo explosion, it doesn't make much difference to me, as I end up being the reason it's all over his vest instead of the nappy. There is an argument for saying that these are better though, as it means it's contained until you are a safe distance away from the general public, timber constructed buildings etc.
but (unless you're feeding yours really weird stuff), that's not an everyday occurrence. So on a budget, the extra 5p is not worth it. They add these 5ps. Talk about "spending a penny". But if you were rolling in it (money that is, not poo), yeah, the extra stretchy bits are better than not having them.
Advantages: super absorbent, each size last through a wide weight range Disadvantages: more expensive than baby dry
I had been using the pampers baby dry on my son since he was a few weeks old and thought they were great. i objected to moving onto the active fit as i really couldnt see the point and they are more expensive.
I was however in the shop one day and they were on offer at £9.99 for a box so i thought i would give them a try and i can honestly say i never looked back, They are superb the absorpbtion is great and they have to be absoloutly full to capacity ... ...your little one these nappies keep them extra dry so you dont get that clammy damp feeling you can sometimes get.
the elastic on the waistband is very good for getting a secure comfotable fit around the waist and grows with the baby. my little one has been in the size four (maxi) nappies for at least five months if not a bit longer.
i would say to anyone who is thinking about giving these a go to keep an eye out in your local supermarket and when ...

Advantages: Stays dry and keeps my little girls skin soft and smooth Disadvantages: None
...six month old daughter uses Pampers active fit nappies and she sleeps all through the night without it leaking or giving her a rash. I am not saying it is the nappy that makes her sleep all night but it keeps her skin dry and soft so she doesn’t get disturbed in her sleep. Pampers active fit comes in regular sizes: 1, 2, 3, 4 and onwards. All the numbers represents different weight and length. My daughter weighs a little bit over 7 kilos and uses ... ...The most positive thing about Pampers active fit is that it keeps dry during a long period of time and that it stays on when my daughter is kicking her little legs around. I can’t find any negative things about the product, only that it doesn’t keep the smell in and therefore I recommend this product and will keep using it for my baby girl. ...

Advantages: soft, strong, comfortable and easy to put on Disadvantages: expensive
i think pampers are the best nappies on the market. i have 4 children aged between 2 and 12 and have used them for each child. never experienced sore bottoms, rashes or leaky nappies. i have occasionally used other quality brand nappies and can say that no other compares to pampers. they are expensive, but you pay for quality and if you shop around you can get bargains. the nappies are soft and strong. i travel a lot on long distances with my children ...

Advantages: stretchy tabs, good absorbtion Disadvantages: price (can be a little dear)
Pampers are the leading brand i think when it comes to nappies and the active fit range are a definite credit to them...true they are slightly pricier than other nappy brands but they are definitely worth it in my opinion. My son is a very active little boy and wriggles pretty much morning til night and certain other brands hadnt been able to contain the leaks (through the leg, waistband etc ) These do the job with ease !!
Never have i had to put ... ...are always special offers on pampers somewhere like two big economy packs for £16 which is excellent value especially if its in boots as then you get your boots points too!!
I have gone from brand to brand but i have found that pampers are very good...these ones in particular....ideal for all the fun of having an active toddler. ...

Quick review of Pampers Active Fit
Pampers active fit are better than the ordinary pampers and the best compared to other brands, they hardly leak and fit my baby well. They also are colorful and better than boring old white nappies!.
I started using active fit when my baby was 5 months, they absorb very well, although when wet they appear heavy.
On 2 ocassions whilst changing my baby the sticky tabs pulled off, but I put this down to trying to change my baby too quickly. The new packs of pampers active fit now offer 60 nappies rather than 56 which is a bonus as they last that bit longer!. ...

Advantages: great fit, stretchy waistband and very absorbent Disadvantages: expensive compared to other brands
When I found out I was pregnant I was advised by everyone to stock up on essentials such as nappies, wipes, baby lotion etc. Being a first time mum I wasn't au fait with the best brands so I went for the ones I'd seen advertised the most - Pampers. I bought loads of the things and boy was I glad when little Adam came along in June. It saved a lot of time shopping when I was getting used to coping with a newborn, and saved the pennies too when I was on maternity pay.
I found that the Pampers didn't fit very well for my newborn as he was premature and quite tiny. I bought another brand once I had finished my stockpile - a supermarket brand which was cheaper but a better fit. Now that my son is 7 months old and quite a little wriggler the supermarket brands are hopeless. I now use PampersActiveFit after try out various big name ...

Advantages: Brilliantly absorbent, stretchy to the max, soft Disadvantages: On the expensive side
Once my daughter was a few months old we started using the ActiveFit nappies from Pampers. What a blessing! We had origianlly been using Huggies, which I found leaked, and we were not too impressed with them.
The Pamers ActiveFit (Purple packets) stopped her red bottom almost straight away with their ultra (and I mean ULTRA) absorbent inner. She could move more freely in them as they stretch and flexed with her. Lets face it babies wriggle and crawl and contort themselves into some impressive positions but whatever way she went the nappy would go with her. They were a comfotable snug fit aroung her legs to keep what was in the nappy, in the nappy. Very stretchy here too, good for any size baby, chubby little cherubs or slim jims.
I found them nice and soft to the touch and I'm sure if you ask my daughter she would agree.
They ...
Advantages: very absorbvent Disadvantages: no stretch for active babies
i have alwasys used pambers on my darling daughter since she was born 8 months ago. i don't know about anyone else but it came as a bit of a shock to me when i kept going up a size they didnt get any more expencive, but that wasn't as big a shock as realising that the pack size have nearly halfed now she is growing. pampers baby dry work out cheaper than any other pampers nappy as you get more in a pack, but they are not as well designed. they have no give in them and feel quite stiff, where as pampersactivefit do the same but have a better fit.
i have found that the other leading brand ( that i have tried there many free samples ) may have a huggable fit but the crystals spill out ( even when only a little wet ) and stick to your babies bottom, which causes no harm but does not look all that nice. so it depends if you are looking ...
