I have been using Pampers now for over 3 years now. When I was pregnant with my son everyone told me that Pampers where the best and that there was no other nappy that comes close to Pampers.
Ok I thought.
Every baby magazine I picked up or brought had either Pampers or Huggies in. So I opted for Pampers. I have only used Huggies once as there was no Pampers in the shop that was the size we wanted. Though I carried on using the pack up as the days went on my son started to develop a sore bum. Which he never had before when using the Pampers. So we decided to bin the Huggies and move back on to the Pampers. My son has never had a sore bum since that. Now he does not need nappies as he is trained but I still use them on my daughter.
THE NAPPY.
Each of the sizes in the baby dry range apart from the newborn nappy is the same. They are white with a greenish edge and a nice little cartoon pictures. Mainly of animals
like a hippo and a kola bear and a bear.
Pampers do quite a large range of different nappies and styles to suit even the most sensitive bums.
SIZES & RANGE.
Newborn.
These as you could tell are for new born babies. The nappy is a tad boring compared to the rest of the Pampers range. These are basically white with a yellow trim and also the pictures on the waistband. These do not come with flexile sides like the baby dry do now. These are also hard to miss as the packs are bright yellow. These also have a wave net in them making them easier for a newborn baby.

Baby Dry Range.
Since I have 1st used these over 3 years ago they have changed so much. Now they have caterpillar flexile sides that moves with baby making these as snug as a bug in a rug. Also making sleeping easier as when babies tummy goes down at night the nappy goes down too and there is a very little chance of the nappy leaking through the night. The nappy is white with greenish colour patterns on also there is a little picture mainly of animals going across the waistband, The baby dry means that the nappy helps lock the wetness away quicker then other nappies making them dry for up to 12 hours. Making a nights sleep more comfortable.
6-13lb (3-6kg) Mini (size 2) 9-20lb (4-9kg) Midi (size 3) 15-40lb (7-18kg) Maxi (size 4) 20-44lb (9-20kg) Maxi Plus (size 4+) 24-55lb (11-25kg) Junior (size 5) 35+lb (16+kg) Extra Large (size 6)
Sensitive Range.
Now I can not really comment on these as I have never used this one. So l went onto boots website to have a look and this is what they said.
hypo-allergenic, unscented and extra breathable. Sensitive nappies come with a built-in anti-irritation cream and are specially designed for babies with sensitive skin. This is the Pampers Active range. These are designed for the active baby as these nappies move with baby helping them the stay close their legs and bum. These have also changed now. Now they have non stop fit fastening system. These means that they are going to be a prefect fit from one nappy change to the next. These again can be noticed as the pack is bright purple. These nappies are also white and purple with the little cartoon on the waistband.
The easy up pants are designed for babies that are standing to walking and are also ideal for potty training. These just make changing nappies easier as the baby does not need to lay down. These are also quite good for starting to potty train as they are easy for a toddler to pull up and down. Just though because they are easy up pants they really are still no different to the nappies as these are still as dry.

PRICE.
These tend to arrange anywhere from £5.39 a pack to £12 for the bigger packs that comes in boxes. These can be brought from any supermarket or places like Boots , Super drug and many other places like that.
GOOD POINTS.
Can prevent sore bums. Baby stays dry throughout the night. Comfy for babies. Wide range from birth to pottytraining. Nice little picture on each nappy. Moves with baby. Hardly any leaks. They stick well to the waistband.
BAD POINTS.
Now you have heard pretty much most of the good points here is a few minor bad points about these nappies.
They do sometimes spilt through the night. This means that the jelly that inside of the nappy starts to leak out, This is horrid when these happens and it's a nightmare to clean up.
Price can be a bad point to these nappies for someone that has not got a lot of money. I spend anywhere from £15 to £20 a week on nappies that was when both of my kids where in nappies. Now though I only really buy a couple of packs a week. So to someone who has not got a lot or just watching them pennies these can be a bad point.
That's it for the bad points. I really can not say anymore bad things as there is not nothing else to say.
MY FINAL THOUGHTS.
Well as I have said I have used these for over 3 years now with both of my kids. If I ever had anymore then I would with out a doubt use these again. My son has only one sore bum in his life as this was when we went onto Huggies we soon went back to Pampers. My daughter has never had a sore bum. So the baby dry does work for my kids. Again this may not work for all babies as some babies really do have sensitive skin. Yet though Pampers have already thought of that one.
To me I have always used the Johnson's products for my kids hair and skin and also bum in form of wipes. So why should they not sit in comfort.
I used pampers for my son most of the time, but used Huggies as well. I bought which ever one I had coupons for or were on offer. I found them both reliable with no problems (sore bums). This was a long time ago though (my son is now 16), so maybe they have changed. :-)

Great review - and I after 2 kids, and 6 weeks until number 3 arrives I agree with you completely about Pampers v. Huggies!!! Rhonda :-)
Advantages: Superior materials, will stick time after time, attractive cartoon waistband! Disadvantages: A little pricey, depending on your budget, can leak but usually only if not properly fitted.
