Around the back is a belt clip which can be opened or closed with push buttons.
Also comes with a shoulder strap.
The external case itself apart from the zip and bottom area is made from a plastic type material so appears to be rugged in construction.
Internally there is only the one compartment for your camcorder. The camcorder fits snugly in the soft sponge lined case.
There are no internal or external pockets and no room inside to put an extra battery or spare tape. Tell a lie there is enough room at a very tight squeeze but I don't want to do it in case anything rubs against the camcorder and scratches it.
If you are after a case just for your camcorder then this is definitely a good stylish and robust case.
If you want one which can also hold a few accessories such as a spare battery or tape then this is not for you.

There was a time when entry level camcorders where big, bulky and usually quite poor quality compared to their more expensive counterparts. This is no longer the case. After the hugely successful GS11, panasonic have launched its replacement, the GS17.
Now this is not the smallest, lightest camcorder by far, however, the quality it produces is easily comparable to camcorders further up the range. The main selling point of this camcorder is its huge optical zoom. At 24x this beats the sony HC19 (20X) which was seen as a big step forward. This size zoom gives so much more flexibility to the type of recording you are able to do and also means you do not have to start using the digital zoom, which will lower the image quality. Now this model does not have a memory card for still shots but you are still able to record an image directly ...
Advantages: GOOD PICTURE QUALITY WITH WIDE RANGE OF FEATURES. Disadvantages: MIGHT BE EXPENSIVE TO SOME.
