Advantages: The VEIRA link gives the Panasonic DMR the best picture qualities for products of it's kind. Disadvantages: The connections liable to disturbanced by movement of the DMR; the handbook too complicated!
Can't say they're 1000% perfect but not far short; the DMR -EZ48VEBK Reg 2 for the Waltham transmitter is little less than the perfect companion to any decent LCD / SKY - or PLASMA set-up (if you have the hackers for one): After being disappointed by several online retailers I managed to get a good deal from Amazon for my Recorder, so to find an Eddy's link on there was sorry but little short of amazing. I have been buying electical goods from Eddy's for nearly 35 years, so you won't get me writing anything but a cracking review; for this reason I give the DMR 4 stars. My only problem is the setting up cos I'm disabled but a neighbour helped me and in less than an hour the whole system was up and working along with the SKY box. Sadly since helping me with this, he has suddenly passed on and will be sadly missed; but the lasting ...

Introduction
Having bought a nice new television (Recently reviewed) I was looking for a new DVD player to go with it and knowing a bit about Hifi and Home Cinema I opted for a player from the same brand Panasonic. I have always been very impressed with any Panasonic product I have owned or seen in a home. After a little look around I opted to buy this player as I had heard great things about it and some of the other products in the DIGA Range so I choose the PanasonicDIGADMR-EX79 and here is my review.
The Look
When Choosing a new DVD Player I wanted to get one that was as smart looking as the new television I had just bought. One thing about Panasonic products I like so much is that they have a great look and this player is no different, It looks very smart in it's Piano black casing and as usual the remote is very concise ...

honest I am basically a panasonic sound system fanatic simply because I am a person to whom music means a lot, but it is also true I have an inherent weakness for the panasonic brand name itself. Although I am not a professional photographer but photography does interest me a lot and on top of that there are friends who are professionals in this field. I came across panasonic lumix dmc-tz7 through one of my friends, what attracted me was its silvery looks ..more...Image Stabilization which functions by raising the camera's sensitivity (and along with it, the noise levels) so as to achieve a higher shutter speed and reduce motion blurring. The panasonic lumix dmc-tz7 will also include face detection capable of identifying eight faces simultaneously, and will take into account the locations of detected faces when calculating autoexposure ...

Manufacturer's product description
By interpolating video data using proprietary algorithms, SD format data is up-converted to 1080 x 1920p HD format video data. This conversion to HD format increases the richness of the original data by approximately six fold, and produces the highest possible image quality when viewing content on a large-screen HDTV.The DVB-T adaptive noise reduction detects and removes the block noise that is unique to digital broadcasts. It helps deliver beautiful, noise-free pictures. The DMR-EZ48V is Deep Color ready, which means they can reproduce images with 12-bit, 4,096-step gradation. You enjoy exceptionally rich, natural-looking colors, with smooth, detailed gradation and minimal color banding. If you want to record the program you're watching, you can start immediately by pressing the VIERA link button on the VIERA remote control and selecting "Direct TV Rec." on the VIERA link menu screen. You can also start Direct TV Record. by pressing "Direct TV Rec." button on VIERA remote.Simply press a button, and one-touch 2-way transfer let you transfer material from a VHS tape to a DVD disc or vice versa. This means you can easily record your entire video library to DVD for a collection that takes up much less space. During tape-to-DVD-RAM transfer, there's also a handy function that reads recording start (VISS) signals on a tape, and automatically creates a program list on the DVD-RAM disc. The DMP-EZ48V offers the ease and convenience of super multi-format recording and playback, which lets users play all of their DVDs, regardless of the recording format. The DMP-EZ48V models can record and play back DVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD-R DL, DVD-RW, +R, +R DL, and +RW discs.
