The features are very good for the price. I have run it with two other cameras I own, a Canon Z50 and a Minolta D50 for comparison purposes. It beats the Canon for sharpness and macro, and is comparable to the Minolta. The battery life appears to be good on MH batteries, but initially I had problems, as the monitor shut down. Leading me to think that the batteries were not charged, touching the release immediately brought the view back. Programming is intuitive and therefor easy. The range of settings covers most situations. I have not tried it at night time, so that aspect is still to come.This is the first camera I have owned which has a fireworks setting, not tested as I purchased after the 5th of November.
In all a very good camera.
