Advantages: Panasonic RV31 has a Crisp Picture. Disadvantages: Poor build quality.
...My Panasonic DVD player was great I got it as a Christmas gift in 2001.
I had no problems except for a background humming sound during all playback. It wasn't too bad but it got really loud at low volumes and made some films unwatchable. It may have just been my player though, as other reviews seem to praise the sound quality.
Last week unfortunatly the dvd player died, it stopped reading any discs and presented a H02 error. After reading around I have found that after about one year most of these panasonic DVD players stop working with similar problems and either a H02 or H03 error. It is annoying as it has just run out of its warranty.
I would recommend not buying this machine and buying a similar priced machine from a different manufacturer. It's a shame because appart from the sound and it's death it was a very good machine....

Advantages: uuuuum works for a fiew months Disadvantages: the whole product
...I purchased this DVD player and it worked great at first. Then it started freezing while playing and giving me the common H02 error (which I did not know anything about until I started browsing Amazon.com's reviews) Over 100 people have experienced this error and panasonic is not standing behind their product. Stay away. It cost as much to fix it as purchasing a new one
It apparantly has a life-span of only a year, give or take a few months. Panasonic fails to tell you this and one day you will be ready to watch a movie, put the disc in and you will see "H02". When you call customer service, they can't help you. They refer you to a Panasonic service dept. far far away and you find out that it costs more to repair than to just buy a new one. This thing is a piece of junk and I will no longer buy Panasonic products. I just wanted to write...

Advantages: Sharper, clearer picture quality Disadvantages: sound not fantastic on HD
...Panasonic TH - 37PX60B
Hubby and I had been discussing Plasma and LCD TV's since they began coming out, and were well versed in HD and its benefits, when we stumbled across this bargain whilst out buying a new cooker.
We purchased this HDMI & HD ready TV for £1350 including stand and delivery costs some six months ago, and apart from a huge pang of guilt when I handed over my credit card, have never regretted it since.( and, yes, I know prices have fallen again!!)
What is HD and HDMI?
HD (High Definition) TV uses the latest technology to bring the clearest and sharpest pictures to your TV.
HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface and quite simply means you get to enjoy high-definition digital images and sound from external sources (PC, cam corders, SKY/Cable HD/digital etc etc) connected to the TV...

All in one, D-SLR-style compacts bridge the gap between budget D-SLRs and system cameras, and their main appeal is the large built in zoom housed in the body.
The FZ-50 fits nicely into the hand with a distinct handgrip. Both the zoom ring and focusing... more

I treated myself to one of these cameras in the sales after Christmas. I was expecting a larger, SLR-sized camera, but was pleasantly surprised at how light and compact the camera is in reality. The quality of the lens is excellent, and good quality... more
