I bought this so that I could take it from my house to a friends house with ease because of the small size. I found that I never needed to look at the instruction manual as the DVD-LS91 was very easy to use.
The DVD-LS91 has a 9 inch screen and I have to say the picture quality is excellent, very smooth and with excellent sharpness and colours, the sound quality is also very good, the sound will not be compairable to your TV but what do you expect from the little speakers but the sound is more than adequte in terms of loudness and quality. You can tilt the screen to a variety of angles so you will always be able to see the screen clearly.
The rechargable battery lasts for 3 hours but I find that I never use the battery because the DVD-LS91 comes with an AC adaptor and this is the usual method that I use. You also have the option to connect this unit into a TV and use the dvd function off it, which can be handy if you want to view a dvd on a TV. The DVD-LS91 has all the usual features that are found on a DVD player.
You can buy portable dvd players that are cheaper than this but after looking at these they do not compair to the quality of the DVD-LS91, I suppose its like anything else in life, you get what you pay for. The picture quality on the cheaper models was no where near as sharp as the DVD-LS91 screen. I will now list the specs for the DVD-LS91, as you can see from the specs the DVD-LS91 does play Divx.
If you want an excellent portable dvd player that can be used at home or in the car (as the DVD-LS91 comes with an attachment for fastening it to a car seats headrest) then the DVD-LS91 will not dissapoint, the picture size and quality are excellent.

Well I have to list all the features else someone could ask what features it has on it. The list may be long but thats all the features that it has on it. No one can accuse me of writing a review that doesnt tell everyone about all the features and what formats of disc that it can and cannot play.
