Advantages: Picture Quality ,Ease of use Disadvantages: no
honest I am basically a panasonic sound system fanatic simply because I am a person to whom music means a lot, but it is also true I have an inherent weakness for the panasonic brand name itself. Although I am not a professional photographer but photography does interest me a lot and on top of that there are friends who are professionals in this field. I came across panasonic lumix dmc-tz7 through one of my friends, what attracted me was its silvery looks ..more...Image Stabilization which functions by raising the camera's sensitivity (and along with it, the noise levels) so as to achieve a higher shutter speed and reduce motion blurring. The panasonic lumix dmc-tz7 will also include face detection capable of identifying eight faces simultaneously, and will take into account the locations of detected faces when calculating autoexposure ...
upload the software. This is helpful, as we are able to upload photos on a computer wherever we are and not just on the computer which the software is installed on
Video
Like most of the latest cameras the Lumix also has the option for making small videos and clips, these are just as impressive as the pictures, the quality is brilliant when played on the camera itself and on the computer. We haven?t yet converted anything onto a DVD format as none of the videos we have are that interesting, but as soon as we do I can update you of the quality
Price
As I have said, we bought this for £130, my camera that I bought was over £200 and although is a good camera I prefer the Lumix as it is far more easily used and I think the LCD and picture quality is brilliant.
I have seen the Panasonic Lumix for around £150 but I would advise that ...

Ciao members have rated this review on average: very helpful Review of Panasonic Lumix FS7
Advantages: Fantastic little camera with 12 x zoom & 10.1MP (better than TZ5), but cheaper than TZ7 Disadvantages: No HD movie mode, not very cheap
The Panasonic Lumix TZ6 is a great little camera that I have used to compliment my large DSLR (a Nikon D90 I have also reviewed), which is too big and expensive to be taken everywhere.
Specification
The TZ6 is compact camera with 10.1 MP, which is plenty of pixels for all but the larger prints and harshest crops. This means that in normal conditions there will never be pixelation, in fact too many megapixels squashed onto a sensor can actually reduce the image quality. The most important feature of this camera is the 12x zoom, 25mm wide angle, Leica lens. Leica is a quality brand, and this lens is no exception, it produces quality images and the lens slides out of the camera quickly and smoothly. There is no lens cap, but slide across covers, as in most other digital compacts.
Design
For such a versatile camera, it is ...
VERY neat, most impressive little DVD player I've ever used... (read on in review, theres too much to say.)
not brilliant base, especially at full volume(but normally I use headphones or if plugged into TV then its tv speakers that r used anyway), Battery hasn't got the longest life but it just clips on so its easy to have more than 1(easy to find on e-bay) (*)
