Advantages: RGB Composite out, High Speed fast forward, DTS out Disadvantages: Terrible remote control, Sometimes slow to load a disc
The RV32 is my second DVD player, after owning a Samsing 709 machine.
I'm not a techno wizard, and a DVD picture looks great to me and to be honest, I cannot see much difference between the two players. The big difference is that the Panaonic supports MP3, CDRw and DVDr discs. This is a great bonus considering that new PC's have digital video editing capabilities.
Picture quality of my discs were, as always with DVD, amazing. The RV32 has all the standard features, pause, zoom, fast forward and so on and all seemed to work fine.
One anoyinh thing when compared with the Samsung is that if you turn the RV32 off mid film, when you switch back on, you have to start from the begining where as the Samsung would carry on from where it finsihed. May not seem like much, but this was very handy.
The Panasonic also seems to be one ...
Advantages: Cheap for a Panasonic, Brilliant colours, Great sound quality Disadvantages: Not 1080p, Deep colour not all that good
On paper, Panasonic's Viera TX-32LXD85 has a tough job on its £650 hands. After all, it follows hot on the heels of the brand's all-singing, all-dancing, really rather excellent 32LZD85. Surely the less well-specified 32LXD85 can't make much of a mark in the wake of such an illustrious sibling?
There is, of course, a very good reason why the 32LXD85 isn't as well specified as the 32LZD85: price. For around £650, the 32LXD85 is £100-200 cheaper than its fancy-pants sibling. That's enough in itself to tempt many people towards it, provided the set's performance standards aren't too badly affected by its price-induced down-speccing.For the most part, the 32LXD85's images are a chip off the old Panasonic block. Colours, for instance, are nothing short of excellent. The ultra-vivid hues of the Bahamas sequence in Casino Royale blaze off ...
Advantages: Flat screen, good picture and sound quality Disadvantages: Not really.
Really like this TV, have bought it recently and very impressed. The design looks really cool and it draws attention to itself. It is a flat screen, as I have come to accept from my TVs now, long gone are the days when I would settle for a bulky TV that you have to re-arange half the room to accomodate for, and so I made the change from plasma to LCD. Which brings be on to this TV.
Picture Quality
Pretty, good, the screen size is 32in, still a bedroom TV in my opinion, but a respectable size. It also has HD as well as 10,000:1 High Contrast with Intelligent Scene Controller (which means that dark scenes are shown impressively more clearer than most TVs), both of which make the picture quality clearer. What I found impressive about this TV is that the picture quality is not diminished by sitting at an angle to it, You can be ...
