This player has multi region capability and also plays MP3 and MPEG discs great for looking at your digital camera snaps in large scale (possibly a scary experience!)
The only negative associated with this player was that it does not come with a Scart lead needed to connect to you television, however I purchased this through the supplier. The Scart was aprox. £10 ... ...I'll have two" and that is just what I did, one for the lounge and one for the bedroom.
Had both for almost 6 months now and have no problems to report with either.

I purchased this DVD player after reading many reviews and checking out it size etc, in a electrical store.
I was very impressed with what I saw, the sleak, slim and stylish design finished in silver looks great in any modern styled household.

The Scart was aprox. £10 and postage was free so all in for £85, "bargain, I'll have two" and that is just what I did, one for the lounge and one for the bedroom.

Advantages: DVD audio, price Disadvantages: Did not come with a scart to scart cable
...but every one plays on Panasonic perfectly. Another bug bear I had with the Playstation was that dialogue was very quiet compared to music and sound effects. This caused us to have to keep turning the volume up and down according to what was happening on the screen. The Panasonic does not suffer from this even without using the "Dialogue enhancer" feature that is designed to overcome this problem. In fact the audio is very impressive even through ... ...all the usual audio formats, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3 etc, but it also plays DVD-Audio which is unusual for such a cheap player.
The picture quality is very good, and so far I’ve not seen any flaws in playback. There are all the usual features for manipulating playback that seem to be included on all new DVD players, many of which I find useless. I've never wanted to use the zoom or the many different slow motion speeds and I've never spoken to anyone ...

Impressive Features You May Never Use
Some other impressive features of the PanasonicDVD-LV70 include still picture display, headphone V.S.S (excellent sound quality), 35-Key slim remote, digital audio outputs, frame advance (forward and reverse), high speed smooth motion scan, on screen menu items, and chapter preview. I rarely use such features, but I do enjoy having them available at the flick of a button.
Is It Worth The Price?
If you’re like me, the idea of actually buying such an expensive device is slim at best considering the high price. My brother paid a whopping $1,000 for this portable DVD player. Techies that have to have the best technology now should not miss out on the chance to own this excellent portable DVD player. For the rest of us, wait a year ...
