Panasonic Dimension 4 Genius Microwave

I must confess that I am not much of a microwave cook before I give my observations and views on the Panasonic Dimension 4 microwave that had been in my use for over some months now. Moreover, I was not in possession of this cooking appliance out of choice but got it as part of my kitchen furnishings when I rented this serviced apartment. How did I ever live before this machine, I have owned a Panasonic Dimension 4 Genius machin for approximately 1.5 years ITS WONDERFUL. The machine is a combination microwave/grill/oven. I use it mainly for Jacket Potatoes, all you have to do is place the potatoe on the tray and press potatoe, it then cooks it for you to perfection, it is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, it does not dry the potatoe out. I generally cook my food using gas cooker and use Panasonic Dimension4 microwave just for re-heating the food until I watched Masterchef and Jermy’s Kitchen on TV where he explained How to cook using Microwave. After that I tried many Italian, Indian and continental dishes and it worked well. The Panasonic Dimension4 microwave is 520mm wide, 330 mm high and 390 mm deep. I have just purchased the panasonic dimension 4 genius. At first it looked complicated but after reading the instructions it is easy. It heats and cooks extremely fast as it is 1000w. The grill/combination/microwave are easy to use but I wish the microwave power would go to a higher level on combination with the oven as it only goes to 600w. The read out panel for setting the microwave is easy to follow but if you have problems with your eye sight you may have a problem. My microwave is stainless steel and the outer walls get extremely hot which is no good if you have young children. Having ... more
