The spiralling costs of disposable blades is enough in my opinion to justify a one-off Ģ60 investment in the Panasonic ES 7036 PRO Curve. Ģ60 may seem like a bit much, but when you consider that 4 disposable blades that will last around a month cost Ģ8 over the long term an electric shaver will save you money. Saving money was my primary motivation and I believed that putting a previous bad experience with a Braun electric shaver to one side I could immediately see a massive difference in quality, control and the closeness of the shave.
The grip has a rubbery consistency which makes it easy to grip wet or dry and speed controls are positioned to aid the user. A comforting hum accompanies the addition of power and instead of having a head that moves at a fixed paceforwards and backwards the head of the shaver is constructed and placed upon 2 strong springs which allow the head to follow the contours of the face giving an even shave. Using the Curve takes a little while to master and if you are looking for the closest shave you've ever experienced you should not go for this model, indeed you should stick to a wet shave with a razor. Whilst the shave is close, hair is still visible and much to my satisfaction it gives the 5 o'clock shadow effect.
Previous electric shavers have nipped my skin leaving areas of my chin and neck quite red and sore but I haven't had any problems with the curve at all, and I put this down to the fact that the head bends. Overall I find the quality and ease of use absolutely brilliant.
If I was asked to improve the Curve I would have two main suggestions for the manufacturer. I would have liked to have seen a trimmer on the back so that I could shape my sideburns and reach those awkward areas under my nose and I would have put a longer lasting battery into the unit. An hour is ok, but by the weekend after charging it on a Sunday night the battery is so weak that it really does struggle.
Summing up my experience with the Panasonic ES 7036 PRO Curve = IMPRESSED.

Review of Panasonic ES 7036 PRO Curve
Advantages: Ergonimic design & value for money ! Disadvantages: None !
The National Panasonic ES 7036 Pro Curve shaver has proved to be a good seller in my shop. The customers were firstly wary of the shape & angle of the foil.Once held in the hand its ergonomic design makes it a very well designed shaver to operate. The shavers motor is slightly slower than some shavers I have used before but its closeness of shave is worth the trade off of speed. It is useful to be able to wash under the tap but I would recommend spraying ...
