...5110, an Alcatel and a Panasonic G450, i thought that the latter one will be probably the best choice.Unfortunately i was wrong. In order not to be misunderstood, i make very clear that the G450, is a very practical and useful phone.Simple enough, clear big screen and user friendly. After one year, and without any hard use, the phone started to switch off whever it felt like to.Sometimes although the logo of the provider could be seen on the screen, the ...
Congratualations Panasonic on producing the Worlds first mobile piece of shite, a phone that appears to function a badly at its main job as a one legged horse in the grand national... yet they keep releasing it as a 520 and now a 600!!!!! ooh it has vibrating bits

Advantages: NONE Disadvantages: Everything about it
...a Nokia 5110!
The Panasonic had lousy facilities and the worst battery life I've ever known on a mobile phone. The antenna was flimsy and the unit was quite heavy.
The word bargepole comes to mind! I wouldn't recommend this phone to anyone.
Coverage is usually a function of the operator (in this case Vodaphone) and was usually very good.
If you want a good quality phone with plenty of facilities and good battery life then this isn't it! ...

Advantages: Small, very intelligent, and easy to use - and it was free!! Disadvantages: A little power hungry when transmitting over distance
Recently traded in my old PanasonicG450 that had served me so well for the past couple of years. There it hung on my belt like a brick compared to my swish new little gem the Nokia 3210.
This sleek and sexy little unit is a real change from the old clunker that I made do with for so long. It offer games to keep me amused when there's time to spare - it allows me to customise virtually every function and to personalise ring tones so that I can tell the difference between friends, family and the boss without having to even look at the screen to see who's ringing me.
The other bonus is the battery time - I was used to daily recharging with the old Panasonic but not so on the Nokia - if I don't make or receive any calls for upto a week there is still charge in the battery - I got 9 days out of it once. On the flip side though I ...

Advantages: Size, price, features Disadvantages: Accessories and the silver finish gets manky after a while
Having owned Panasonic phones since I got connected to Vodafone, I started with a G450, then G600 then a GD90, I've found them all to be completely underrated. The GD90 especially, at the time it was brought out it was one of the smallest and lightest phones on the market. In terms of size only the Motorola V.3688 was smaller but only when folded! And it was about a third of the price and in my view offered more features and a better quality. I've still got the GD90 but also have a 7110 that I use for work. I keep the GD90 for weekends as it fits nicely into my pocket and doesn't feel like you're carrying a brick.
Now they've brough out the GD92 I think it's time for an upgrade so I can carry a small phone but still have the use of my WAP services.
The only downside I found with Panasonic is the accessories, they seem to take ages ...
