Well compared to my last phone the Samsung E 700 this phone at least allowed me to enter my text without having to change over from T9 constantly. However and this is the reason I am now sending the phone back I am quite a fast texter my the time I got to the 3rd line of my text message the phones software couldnt keep up with me. i had to text at a snails pace and considering Im not even familiar with the phone ... more

TEXTING
Well compared to my last phone the Samsung E 700 this phone at least allowed me to enter my text without having to change over from T9 constantly. However and this is the reason I am now sending the phone back I am quite a fast texter my the time I got to the 3rd line of my text message the phones software couldnt keep up with me. i had to text at a snails pace and considering Im not even familiar with the phone thats scary. If you text alot this phone may be a very bad idea!
SOUND
Okay well this I cant criticise too much considering this phone has been on the market for quite a while it had better sound than a much more expensive nokia I recently owned 7210. I downloaded a couple of polys and considering the price of the phone was surprised by how good they sounded
GRAPHICS
Very basic but then this is a low budget phone
MMS/GPRS
This phone can send and receive MMS and you can get a clip on camera for it, however due to the texting issues I didnt even keep the phone long enough to buy one
Wap worked fine and was fairly easy to navigate
PHONEBOOK
200 capability but you cant choose a default phonebook eg sim or handset which annoyed me as my sim has alot of 02 pre installed numbers so I had to go past them to get to the ones I wanted. Also you can only store one number for each person.
SUM UP
Okay this is a good price but dont be fooled, I am trying out new phones as I thought the sound capability and designs of my recent Nokias could be doing with improvement, however I would stress that all in all I want a phone that I can text quickly with and is very functional so far Nokia is still winning on that front. Generally I think this phone would be a false economy, there are better models for the same price.
A NOTE
An icon also appeared on the screen before I sent it back which i discovered was to warn me my inbox was full it was empty and reading another couple of reviews this has been a problem on a similar model
i spent 120 pounds on this phone last december. what a waste of money! these are some of the problems i have experienced with this phone: the charger does not fit properly, if somebody rings me i can't hear them unless i put them on loudspeaker or i can't hear them (which is useless if i'm in public) and the camera is RUBBISH (of course this could be because i was given a dud phone). another thing i don't like about the phone is if i'm sent a picture ...

Advantages: Stylish and easy to use Disadvantages: The clip on camera is poor picture quality
I have owned my G60 since xmas, a nice prezzy, it is fairly compact with an intergrated aerial. The screen has a very high colour definition with easy to use icons for the main functions, the colours can be easily personalised. It is wap enabled so it is easy to use on the internet and it is capable of sending multi-media messages. It is easy to download polyphonic ringtones, message alerts, screensavers, pictures and animations in .GIF format (not ... ...easy to check how much memory is left.The phone directory is fairly large and email addresses can be included. The phone does come with a clip on camera which is ok as a gimick only, it is easy to use but the definition is quite poor.

Advantages: Nice looking phone Disadvantages: Been nothing but trouble!
I bought my Panasonic G60 about 6 months ago as new for about £60.00 I think.
I liked the phone as you could change the back cover and cut out your favourite pictures to put in there.
The games are pretty poor - but then I'm buyest because I dont think you can beat snake!
The ringtones are polyphonic if not a little embarrasing when your in a crowded place.
The phone itself is alright but mine has a really bad habit of randomly turning itself ... ...( well not that important) and I'm wondering why my boyfriend hasn't called and its because my phone has a mind of its own.
Maybe its just mine and I got given a duff one but apart from that its a bog standard phone. It has WAP but not alot else. ...

Advantages: Good Colour Screen Disadvantages: WAP is quite slow
The panasonic GD60 is a great first time mobile phone.
It has very easy to use colour menus, very easy text service and a great look and feel.
It also charges up very quickly for people or business people who need a mobile for work purposes !
The phone has a number of good games for teenagers that like to play games on the move.
The mobile phone has a very good reception even though it has a intergrated ariel for that better look and feel.
The ... ...inputs to the phone.
A large Phonebook for lots of friends and family numbers and address !
The phone look and feel is absolutley excellent for the price you pay, it sertanley sticks out from the crowd as a cool and easy phone to use !
I rate this phone a Excellent first time mobile phone ! ...
