I travel so I need a phone that will work in Europe, Asia, UK and the USA. This works everywhere.
The only thing i didn't like about it when I bought it was that it didnt have bluetooth. (I wanted a phone that i could use as a mobile with my laptop)... I looked at Hutch 3, but their phones didn't have the modem feature activated for a few months.
This was by far the best camera phone and so simple to use... so i bought it and set up the mobile internet (with my own pop email account) - so i can just click on messages, click on email, click on receive - then it downloads previews from my inbox (so now i dont even need the bluetooth).. I can check emails as often as i want - its like having mobile email.
The only downside is that it wont download all the really big files (it will let you know they are there, but you cant read them until you get back to a connection).
Another great feature for those of us that are concerned for our health using mobile phones is that it has hands free speaker which works well. as you are talking you click hands free and lay it on the table, keep working and chatting without haning onto it.
If you play games, this phone has a great screen size and a big enough joy stick thingy that its comfortable to play (im not sure on the variety of games though, everytime i look for something - they all seem to be for the nokia's etc..)
WAP i have always thought was a useless feature in a phone... but thats because I have only seen it on small screen (black and white) phones... but as a feature on this large screen it is 100% useable.
I log onto the news service as i leave the house in the morning and can read news from the BBC etc... the pages are big enough to fit 25-30 words on them so it doesnt feel like a scroll-fest.
Also very easy to get access to movies, weather, traffic, trains etc... so i have to say - this is the first time i have ever beleived in the hype of a mobile world.... i am 100% mobile with this thing.
and best of all, with the email feature I click once to get to the camera, take a picture and then click email, click the address, select a name, enter a message, click send and my family and friends in different countries see what im up to right now (with email set up, you dont have to worry about finding other people with picture messaging - everyone has email... almost everyone :).
other little things like the navigation system being graphical - is so user friendly... and the calculator is the only usable calculator i have ever seen on a mobile - also easy setup for the currency converter for which ever country you are in... to keep an easy track of expenses.
it has a calendar feature too - but that seemed a little too fidly for me - i prefer to stick with the paper one (for now, until they get a speakable entry version :).
the voice command for the address book is very easy to setup and works brilliantly.
above all... go into a shop and check out the quality of the photos... i found them the best of all the other phones available.
BATTERY... I went to the USA last month and forgot the charger.. i didnt really need to use it so i just turned it on when i needed it and then off again - i made about 20 calls to the uk... and it lasted me for 2 weeks!!... i couldnt beleive it (i thought the battery would slowly run out even when not on.)
ALSO - I have dropped the thing so many times it has a few scratches - but still works (amazingly, i would have expected the screen to break when i dropped it comming of the bus onto the road.... but - it's a tough little fella).
