This is at the moment the newest phone by Panasonic, and I must say not necessarily the best. The phone is extremely light, WAP enabled with internal modem, has 7 back lights (the best feature I think), has speaker phone so you don't need handsfree, voice dialling, 3 self input ring tones, and other additionals like calculator, currency converter, etc. In terms of functions, it does have most that we would want to find with mobiles at the moment, however, the first instance someone sees this phone would not really be particularly impressed with it's shape or style. It does look a bit too wide and big as compared to the current trends, but it is extremly light and thin, so for me it doesn't actually give much problems although I prefer the shape of GD 92. As compared to GD 92, it's really just got a few additional features that doesn't actually add much value usage wise, talk time is okay, and charging time is about an hour, on-line price is FREE right now but otherwise, there is nothing that is particularly attractive about this phone.
With the number of phones on the market right now, GD 93 is not particularly outstanding. It's plainly unfortunate that GD 90 and 92 are being eliminated from the market, otherwise it's clear that you wouldn't particularly opt for the GD 93. However, alongside it's okay additional features as compared to the other phone, it still maintains the fairly user friendly menu functions and dialling options that are common with all Panasonic phones, such as quick dial, different ring tones for incoming callers, etc. So it is generally a good phone in terms of functions and ease of use, but as a phone in itself, it is really not that special. Go for Panasonic phones, cos there's always something good about them, but GD 93 would not seem to be worth it's while if there were other products available. Unfortunately on the market right now I don't see anything else that is any better, apart from that most others have games while all Panasonic phones do not, but for GD 93 I have really taken a fancy to the 7 coloured back light display.
