Panasonic KX-FL 611

Advantages: Sound quality, size
Disadvantages: no speaker phone

...I recently purchased the Panasonic KX-TCD965EC and can highly recommend it, the sound quality is exceptional, to the point, that the person you are talking to can hear the birds chirping in the distance. The answer machine facility is acceptable, but not anything exceptional. It is a very compact phone, has many features (far too many to describe in 90 words). The price was quite high for a telephone/answering machine, but it was worth it for the sound quality alone. The one thing which is missing is the hands free (speaker phone), which is very useful when dialing companies which keep you on hold for hours, we all know about those don't we. All in all, it is a very practicle little phone, with exceptional sound quality, I would highly recommend it. Thank you for reading... Read review

Advantages: Can call your Girlfriend - and leave her on hold!
Disadvantages: Looks like something from the 90s

...It was 12.00pm and my wife was in africa, i was very tired but i cant sleep without talking to her, so i picked up my phone and called her, we talked for20mins, then i fell asleep - it wasn't till i got the phone bill £22!! i was angry!!! i KICKED MY WIDE FOR THAT!! Advantages: Clear speaker large display packed with features
Disadvantages: Large Base station and difficult to wall hang

...With this model Panasonic managed to pack everything in to one unit that a family home could ever want. The unit is GAP compatible and you can add up to 6 handsets to the main base station. The main base station is also a handsfree phone so if you dont want to pick up the phone or cant find the phone then you can make and receive calls directly from the base station, I have walked around in a room 10 metres square and talked on the base with out the caller even knowing. The handsets also come with handsfree and on the main unit handset you can also operate the answer machine. The phone has 10 ring tones all reasonably pleasant and a large clear easy to use display. The phone is caller ID compatible and the display when caller ID is in use is very clear as to what number is calling and if your callers number is stored in the name... Read review
