Advantages: Very clear sound, excellent range. Best speaker phone I've used. Disadvantages: none.
We have owned a speaker-phone for many years but never really found the voice quality and reception very good at all. In fact I would say it was practically impossible!
At the time we had bought one of the most expensive models we could find thinking it would give the best sound quality through the speakers and microphone, at best the caller's voice was muffled and the microphone would only pick up our voice if we stayed within about a foot of it and spoke more or less into the microphone. Not good at all when wanting to have a telephone conversation at the same time as preparing a meal.
After a bit of research on-line and visiting a friend of ours who already owned a Panasonic cordless phone, we decided to get the PanasonicKX-TG8324E. This is a set of 4 cordless dect phones, and we are not disappointed with the results ...

Ciao members have rated this review on average: very helpful Review of Panasonic KX-TG8324
Advantages: Stylish, feel good and great functionality. Disadvantages: Very susceptible to finger prints!!
The PanasonicKX-TG 8222 is a brilliant home phone and no mistaking; I do most of my communicating by telephone via my mobile and even then only when I have to. I am not one of those people who pick up a phone and chat endlessly to someone because I have nothing better to do but when I do need to use a phone I like it to feel comfortable to hold and not to crackle in my ear, those were my only real lookouts for a phone but I didn`t realise how bad our old house phones really were until we bought these.
The Panasonic KXTG8222EB digital telephone is of course cordless and has a large LCD screen, illuminated keypad, 200 name and number directory and an answering machine function which will allow you to record up to 40 minutes of messages ( a good 20 minutes more than my last phones offered). You can adjust the ringer and the handset ...
Advantages: Looks stunning, can send text messages Disadvantages: Difficult to hold for long periods, painful on your ear, sound not brilliant
.
Although the specification of the phone is tremendous, not all of the spec is as good as it could be. The ability to send text messages from the phone is great, but it does take time inputting every letter, and I don't think you can use lower case.
The menu options could be better and more comprehensive. You can change the picture on the screen display with two options, neither of which are very exciting and only one can really be used without effecting the important display information.
The choice of ringtones is very bad, only one is worth using.
This is the second Panasonic phone I have owned, and the previous one, although it did not have any where near the amount of features, was a more comfortable phone to use.
I did a lot of research before deciding on this phone but overall I am disappointed.
