After my Virgin phone installation two years ago, I decided that my cheapest option would be to buy a set of cordless digital phones rather than to pay for pricey extra extension cables to be run upstairs. Living so far away from my family, we decided to get a landline put in to the house, as it is cheaper than mobiles and there are so many great offers out there now that you can keep the costs to a minimum but still keep on contact with the people closest to you, even though you are many miles away!
