Advantages: Like using a mobile phone on a landline
Disadvantages: NONE

The phone also has a caller ID feature so I can see exactly who is calling me before I answer, although I did have to set this feature up with my phone provider for a minimal monthly fee. The phone will store up to 50 incoming phone numbers, this is very useful if you can't get to the phone quick enough to answer it, or if you are out.
