Advantages Advantages Easy to use, takes good photos, fast flash

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not necessarily one for the pros

We purchased the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS35 in early September, after our Canon Ixus started making strange noises. We didn’t spend a huge amount of time researching the camera – we considered a couple of alternatives such as upgrading to the latest version of the Canon Ixus (which we had been happy with until its untimely demise) – but the main deciding factor behind our purchase was that friends had a previous version of the Panasonic Lumix and were very happy with it. We were also attracted by some of the features promised by the Panasonic Lumix FS35, namely the 16.1 megapixel resolution, the ... more

Advantages Advantages Excellent range of features, great quality photos and video, very good value.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Complex amount of features which are hard to find sometimes.

PANASONIC LUMIX DMC-FS35 I am a big fan of digital cameras and have owned several over the last few years. I usually try to upgrade every year, but I have been loyal to the Panasonic Lumix brand for the past three years or so. When my baby son was due, I felt it was an excellent time for an upgrade, so I did an online search to see which would be the best model to buy. I didn’t want to spend more than £150, I wanted more pixels and a bigger zoom than my other models and – being a girl! – I wanted a pretty colour too! The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS35 ticked all these boxes. It has 16 mega pixels ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to use, quality images

Disadvantages Disadvantages Autofocus not perfect, no touchscreen

A couple of years ago we were looking for a new camera, and my brother in law had just bought one of these. Sadly, it was just out of our price range at over £100, so we gave it a miss. A few months later, we saw it on offer for well under the original amount and decided to get it as kind of a Christmas present to ourselves! The camera is nice and compact, yet feels very sturdy when you're holding it. It comes with a wrist strap, which to be fair is pretty standard with cameras now. This is designed well so that you can easily have it round your wrist and take the photo without any ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages seems too light, videos drain the battery

hadnt initially wanted to buy this little camera, it seemed too cheap for anything that would be good and it was extremely light so I thought it may not last too long. The guy in the shop had spent a long time with us going through varius options but I knew I needed something that was easy to use, pick it up, point it, click and capture! This, I was told would do just that. Its a little balck camera with chrome on the top and the lens and has a small display on the back to see what you are taking pictures of, as well as the viewfinder if you want to put your eye to it, no differnt than any ... more
