Advantages so easy to use and very professional looking photos.

Disadvantages none that i can find.

Having had this model for a few months now I wouldn't be without it. I paid about £270 for mine, and could not find anything to compare with the quality of this camera anywhere near that price.Included was a 256mb card, an extremely good long life battery (lasts me all day) and charger, lens hood, adaptor and cap, and a cd-rom and all the connection cables.

It is a 5 megapixel. It has a very high quality lens, and marvellous 12x zoom. The built in flash pops up at the press of a button, and automatically flashes twice to avoid red eye.

From landscapes to night photos the results are brilliant. And for birdwatchers you can get really sharp images, especially with a tripod. I have actually framed 2 and nobody can believe that I've taken them with a camera. It is so easy to use, as you preselect which setting you want to use. i.e. scenery(day or night), portrait, panning, and there are even settings for fireworks and snow scenes !!!!!!!!

You can select your own picture quality. I tend to use the low compression the most as it gives the best quality picture, but if you are wanting to edit your pictures on the computer the lower setting is more than adequate, and of course you can store a lot more pictures on your memory card. And it also has the advantage of being able to take a short video.

You can also zoom your photos in after you've taken them and edit them, or plug the camera directly into the television and view or edit them from there.

All in all, a professional camera with excellent results and extremely good value for money.

I hope you don't mind if I make a suggestion? There was a lot of information in your review but it was quite hard to read all bunched up together. Reviews that are broken up into smaller paragraphs and have a blank space between them are easier for others to read and it also gives a nice overall look to the review. You can edit your review at any time to change it or to add new information at any time by clicking on the edit link which is top centre of the page as you read your review. Fionaxx
