To start off I must just say that Panasonic must feel an achievement in creating and designing such a wonderful, high powered quality camera. I got mine a few weeks ago and recently took it with me to Belgium and France. Over there, I took many great pictures which the Lumix captured with every last bit of detail. This was due to what it offers;10.2 mega pixels- literally amazing! You and I wouldn't expect so much form such a small camera but believe me, Panasonic have done it. The camera even feels good, looks good and is quite light.

This camera not only offers loads of mega pixels but also many more features. It includes 4x optical and 4x digital zoom which again add to the detail and quality of the photos. The lens of the camera is super wide at 28mm which offers great view points for which the camera can take pictures. Other features include:
• 10.2 Mega pixel CCD
• 4x Optical Zoom
• Advanced Mega Optical Image Stabilizer
• Large 2.8'' LCD Screen
• Full manual control

Whilst on my trip I often likes having a look at the photos I'd taken recently. This was perfect because the Lumix DMC-LX2 has a wapping 2.8 inch LCD screen on the back. Its huge! The photos look brilliant on it which made me even more keen to come write this review.

As you'd expect from a high quality camera, it needs to be easy to use. Well, this camera couldn't be easier. There are buttons on the top and on the back. They are all big enough to get grip on to push but not so big that they over crowd the camera. The manual, which comes supplied with the camera, tells you everything you need to know about it and tell you how to do the super easy setting up and installation on your pc. I found the manual very good for this but also for another wide range of things I needed help with.

Pricing: Well, I'm going to be honest…its not that cheap but considering what your purchasing its cheap-to me at least! I got mine for a bit over 250 pounds but I'm now finding them cheaper so your looking at £240. Anyway, what your getting for the price is astonishing and as I found is good value for the money spent.

What you get:
When you purchase one of these cameras, of course you get the camera but all other stuff needed to setup and view pictures. Heres what you get:
• Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX2 digital camera
• Lens cap with strap
• Panasonic CGA-S005A rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack and charger
• USB cable
• AV cable
• Wrist strap
• Software CD
• Basic operating manual and registration card

Finally, I feel this camera is excellent value and don't be afraid to spend a bit more on a wonderful camera. You will be happy with it just like I am!

Thanks for reading
