Panasonic Lumix DMC ZS10 / TZ20

I decided that I was going to treat myself to a new camera for our honeymoon to Thailand. I spent a lot of time researching cameras online and found myself keep coming back to the Lumix TZ20. My Mum has the TZ10 and raves about it. So I managed to get a great deal and went for it (I think it cost me around £150 in the end). I found it easy to navigate (the downside being that you have to download the instruction manual from the internet) and was able to set it up pretty quickly. My experience - For years now, I have used many different compact cameras being a keen holiday phtographer and I also love capturing a few short vids to show folks when I get back to home shores. Panasonic cameras have always given great quality photos and this one is no exception. It has a great zoom at 16x and even the digital zoom is fairly good but I wouldn't zoom in too close as the picture gets distorted. The camera also has a nifty capability of being able to make a 3D image by overlaying 20 consecutive photos which can then be shown on a Panasonic VIERA 3D HDTV. the tracking capability ... more

Got this camera for my wife for her birthday! She loves it! To start, this camera has a nice sleek design and a very nice finish. For such a small camera I did not expect the picture quality to be as good as it is. I also really enjoy the button placement on this camera and how easy it is to just zoom in. I found this camera to be much easier to use than my past cameras. Another thing that I noticed is the ability to take good quality pictures in low light atmospheres without the flash.
