This Panasonic GF3 is a impressive camera that can take VERY sharp pics with lovely IQ/Dynamic range, and color overall. I also like working with the best of the best cameras in their section if I can afford them. I have owned, or own the Canon S95, Fuji X100 and Sony NEX-5, Had the original E-P1, Had the GF1 prior.
I have been looking forever for a VERY Little camera that can take DSLR like pics. Though the GF1 did have a tiny bit more manual control than the GF1 does, for example even flash compensation..I cannot appear to find that modification on this GF3. Even inexpensive point and shoot cameras often let you change the amount of flash you will use, That is con here.The bottom line, though using the exact sensor as the eariler GF1 and GF2 my pics from my GF3 look BETTER overall as to color, noise, IN focus, virtually no Moire pattern issues..the GF1 had plenty of Moire pattern noise, the GF3 seems much cleaner.
