I noted that a junctiion on the wire tray had come away after approximately six months. It was a welded joint which seemed defective. On taking it back to Comet I was informed that wire trays were not covered under the guarantee from Panasonic but under some pressure they gave me a new tray from one of the models on show, but did not admit responsibility. The wire tray is quite substantial and this is probably an isolated incident. I reported the complaint to Which who provided a long explanation as to why Comet were in error with this approach but even discussing it with their local managed proved fruitless as he did not want to know.
I will now treat Comet with great suspicion in future.
