After owning a previous video recorder/cam recorder for many years, i decided it was time to change in time form my holiday.
I bought mine for £254.83 from qud-uk.com.
Firstly, elaborating on the advantages of this product, the first thing that caught my eye was the size. As my previous one, being big and chunky as it was, the size was a huge difference. Furthermore, the zoom-in function is magnificant - detail of a picture/object can be seen over a third to half a mile a way, detail obviously fading the further you zoom in. The size of this enables it to be stored in compact spaces, where necessary in situations such as going on holiday. Other that a video recorder, this has a built in camera - a button saying 'photoshot' has to be pressed, and thats it - simple. Another advantage of this is that there is a flip out screen, of which can be twisted in a 360 degrees angle from the centre (where connected). As i have only occupied one of these for a month, i have found no problems or faults with this awesome piece of equipment. I have used it many times.
No batteries are to be changed, all you do is simply place the battery on a charger and leave it for a few hours, and click it back on the the cam corder. - its 'simple, easy and fast!'
With regards to the ease of button operation, they are right next to your hand when holding it. Basically, you press a little button to display various things on the screen, such as fast forward, rewind, play, stop, etc. To access these, you then push the button towards the appropriate function required by yourself.
In general, this cam corder is an excellent product made by panasonic (as always), and enables you to carry out many tasks on a small, compact piece of equipment.
Playback can be seen on the actual video recorder or can be plugged in to the Television to watch on their.
Last thing to be reviewed is the instruction manual - upon getting this i was firstly unaware of how to operate it, so i went to the instruction manual for help. It had detailed information on how to use the various features, and i was extremely pleased on this behalf. Contents pages allow efficient movement around the manual to direct you to various pages/features about the cam.
If you are hesitating upon purchasing this item, don't, just buy it and you shall not be dissapointed with your purchase - i'm not.
