Advantages: Easy to operate, fully compatible with most DVD formats Disadvantages: No Blu Ray or remote function, handbook a little too technical
...Review of Panasonic DVD-LS83 portable DVD player.
The product
This is a portable DVD player made by Panasonic. The DVD player comes with an 8.5 “ diagonal wide screen LCD screen. It is a multi format playback model which will support all kinds of DVDs, CD, DVD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+R, J-PEG, DVD+RW and DVD-RAM. It is made of sturdy black plastic and come complete with all leads, cables, headrest mounting brackets and basic accessories.
These DVD players are designed for use on the move, with no need to be connected to a full size television. Advantages: Brill picture, brill sound. Flat as a pancake. Disadvantages: Price!!!
...This is a cut down, and slightly biased review on the absolute monster Plasma Television, made by Panasonic. Although I am not one for the latest technology, I am in lust with this beauty!
I do not actually own one of these outright, but I have the use of one on a regular basis. I feel I am well qualified to review, and recommend this brilliant product. Still over the moon with it, and it really is a doddle to dust.
The size of the screen is an amazing FIFTY INCHES!!!
Picture quality is fantastic, to be honest, when I heard what size it was, I did expect a poor picture, but this is brilliant. You can fine tune the picture to your eyes, and the list of options in the menu goes on and on. The screen resolution is a massive 1366 x 768. Aspect Ratio is 16:9. It has Auto setup, and a 1500 Page Teletext Memory.

Advantages: Simple to use, easy to use, produces good recordings, looks ok. Disadvantages: Not really any
...Was really impressed with this, Panasonic has always been one of the best in the business and this DVD recorder is no exception.
Look and Design
It's of a reasonable size and weight and fits easily into an average cabinet. It has width: 430mm, depth: 330mm and height: 59mm. It weighs 3.2 kg
It isn't overly flashy and just looks like an average DVD player. But this also means it blends in quite well and doesn't contrast with anything.
Function
It's very easy to use with a simple and easy to navigate menu as well as a one click VIERA button on the included remote that just records the program you are currently watching. Playback is also very simple as is moving the recorded file to DVD.
What's great about this DVD recorder is that it actually makes the recorded file better than the original broadcast producing amazing...
