Advantages: Picture Quality ,Ease of use Disadvantages: no
honest I am basically a panasonic sound system fanatic simply because I am a person to whom music means a lot, but it is also true I have an inherent weakness for the panasonic brand name itself. Although I am not a professional photographer but photography does interest me a lot and on top of that there are friends who are professionals in this field. I came across panasonic lumix dmc-tz7 through one of my friends, what attracted me was its silvery looks ..more...Image Stabilization which functions by raising the camera's sensitivity (and along with it, the noise levels) so as to achieve a higher shutter speed and reduce motion blurring. The panasonic lumix dmc-tz7 will also include face detection capable of identifying eight faces simultaneously, and will take into account the locations of detected faces when calculating autoexposure ...
I have just replaced my Fuji fine pix with another camera, and whilst buying my boyfriend bought himself a Lumix FS7 which I am now regretting not getting for myself. Always the way, but whenever I go shopping for something electrical, some guy in a suit always sways me towards something different. Which I should really learn from and just buy online, its usually cheaper anyway.
The Panasonic Lumix FS7 Digital camera comes in a range of different colours; it cost £130 which for a 10.1 Megapixel camera was pretty good and the deal we got meant that a free case came with it as well as an additional memory card. So there were no qualms on the price.
10.1 Megapixels
Right away we was impressed with the quality of the images this camera was taking, I also test the pictures out on phones and cameras by taking one scenic photo, a photo ...

Ciao members have rated this review on average: very helpful Review of Panasonic Lumix FS7
Advantages: Fantastic little camera with 12 x zoom & 10.1MP (better than TZ5), but cheaper than TZ7 Disadvantages: No HD movie mode, not very cheap
The Panasonic Lumix TZ6 is a great little camera that I have used to compliment my large DSLR (a Nikon D90 I have also reviewed), which is too big and expensive to be taken everywhere.
Specification
The TZ6 is compact camera with 10.1 MP, which is plenty of pixels for all but the larger prints and harshest crops. This means that in normal conditions there will never be pixelation, in fact too many megapixels squashed onto a sensor can actually reduce the image quality. The most important feature of this camera is the 12x zoom, 25mm wide angle, Leica lens. Leica is a quality brand, and this lens is no exception, it produces quality images and the lens slides out of the camera quickly and smoothly. There is no lens cap, but slide across covers, as in most other digital compacts.

For such a versatile camera, it is ...
Product Information for "Panasonic PanaFlat LC50" »
Manufacturer's product description
With CRT monitors, image distortion and precision considerations dictate that the actual display area be slightly smaller than the full screen capacity. Because LCD displays are able to utilize the full screen capacity, however, a 15-inch display can offer a display area close to that of a 17-inch CRT monitor. This enables the LC50 to offer full screen display of all modes ranging up to XGA. Requiring only one third the area normally occupied by a CRT monitor, the LC50 frees up precious desktop space for more important business uses. The thin-film transistor (TFT) system used for the LC50 Series offers a wide angle of vision (140 horizontal), with little or no deviation in color or image quality. This feature is very useful in situations where displayed information is viewed in groups.Designed to meet evolving consumer preferences in image quality, the LC50 combines sharper focus with significant advances in brightness and contrast. Eye - catching natural quality color is made possible by the use of a specially selected color filter. Users can now enjoy display performance at the 16.2-million color setting. Industry leading contrast ratio of 400: 1 and brightness of 250cd/m2 (more than double of a CRT) eliminate any screen darkness. The result is sharp reproduction of image detail and fine definition of smaller characters.
