I am a fan of my simple and yet stylish Panasonic RF-2400 Radio which cost me around the thirty quid mark online about a year or so ago. I use it most days, mainly for when I am shaving or applying creams etc in the bathroom on a morning before I go to work. This has proved to be a reliable little gadget which has a simple FM/AM mode and has nothing fancy attached to it like DAB etc and many might find it a tad old fashioned but I really do love it for its reliability and I am able to find any (or mostly any) signals simply and easily without too much hassle or twiddling. The reception is good and clear and sound quality is very good.

I like the simple design of this radio, which as I say is nothing fancy to look at but does the job I bought it for. It is black and fairly slim in design and comes with a handy carying handle for moving it about from room to room either inside or outside the house. If the weather is nice on weekends I like to put it on the grass beside me in the front garden and sit in my chair and read the newspaper and have the radio playing gently in the background.

The Panasonic RF-2400 Radio runs on four simple AA batteries and these seem to last me a good long time, despite my using the radio every morning (except Sundays) for about 5 months now - as yet they have not needed to be changed. Although as I say I use batteries in my radio, you can actually use an electrical socket if you wish but I tend not to.

The Panasonic RF-2400 Radio is constructed of simple black plastic with large aerial. I am always able to gain a very good reception on this radion and I like the fact that it has large knobs to tune into various stations of my choice. The reception always seems to be excellent and it never deteriorates even when I move around from room to room, such as when I am decorating.

The aerial is slightly bent due to the little lad having dropped it but despite this it still picks up an excellent signal at all times. It's not too tinny at all and I really do recommend the Panasonic RF-2400 Radio for its relaiability and quality.
