Advantages: Wears well,Battery life is good, battery check.Good sound Disadvantages: The beeping when searching for a station.
...I have owned my PanasonicRQ-CR15V Stereo Radio Cassette Player for just over 2 years. For a person who has a habit of breaking things especially walkmans , headphones and bags ! This is remarkably sturdy , including the headphones which was even more of a shock to me . As i used to go through a pair a month!
I chose this by price , looks and quality. I picked well ! The walkman is silver on the front and grey on the back and a bit of blue around the tuner display , with 6 easy press buttons , there are 12 presets 6 for FM and 6 for AM. There is a hold facility which you can press to stop the tuners buttons pressing while you are tuned to a particular station / or alternatively to stop it coming on when the stereo is not in use. The Panasonic also has a handy Battery check button with 3 bars to show how dead the batteries are...

Advantages: compact, good value, additional radio feature Disadvantages: none
...My Panasonic walkman is actually the RQ-E30V but is basically the same as the E20V. I think the only difference is the XBS feature on the E30V.
It is really compact and comes in metalic blue, silver or gold.
It has (of course) a cassette playing feature and also a radio playing facility. You can get both AM and FM radio stations and the walkman comes with a 20 station memory which is really easy to work.
The RQ-E30V also has 'suto-reverse' which means tghat when the tape gets to the end, it will switch to the other side automatically.
It also has XBS and a battery-checking option when you can check your power supply, even when the walkman is switched off, at one touch of a button.
This walkman is really good value for money and is usually around £35 but shop around as prices do vary....

Advantages: Sound Quality Disadvantages: A bit flimsy
...My Panasonic Personal Stereo is fantastic, and I would recommend it to anybody seeking an excellent walkman, with amazing sound quality at a relatively cheap price.
My current personal stereo is the second one of the same type I have purchased, because it simply is that good. I brought a second one because my first got smashed to bits, and this stereo was still the obvious choice after a year of new Personal stereos coming on the market.
There around £24.00 and for this you get:
+ A Tape player and a Stereo Radio AM/FM,
+10 Preset stations, to keep your favourites tuned in,
+A Bass Boost control,
+Headphones (I’ll tell you about these later),
+A Hold function, to stop channels changing when you don’t want them to,
+A Battery meter, which displays the amount of power in the batteries left,
+An Auto Reverse system for the Tape...

I wish I was a beginner again so that I could justify buying this camera. Reader, I want it. It's pretty. It's sexy. I bang on and on about how a camera should be an investment, should grow with you and shouldn't be purchased because it's Pretty Like The more
