...Buying a Panasonic means you not only buy a decent electrical item but you pay extra money for a name. The SC-AK25 is a decent piece of equipment; it contains a 5-disc CD changer, with a digital radio tuner and two feather touch tape cassette player/recorders. It retailed at £249.99 and was purchased from a mail order company. It’s quite an attractive piece of kit but does not really compare to other models made by Sony. ...I bought this Home cinema system from curry's about 1 month ago, I paid £149.99 it has since gone back up to £189.99. After exstensive searching to find the right system for my money which was a choice between the panasonic, a sony, a samsung or a phillips to say the least I was a little torn in my decision they all offered value for money. I decided to go for the Panasonic to my delight I rushed home to try it out and I was disapointed with my choice as I had to return it the next day due to it being faulty. I was discouraged from getting the same model, however after speaking to a member of staff in curry's he played all the systems I was interested in and to say the least the Panasonic stood out imensly. The sound quality was by far superior to all the rest in this price bracket even turned up to maximum volume... Read review

...What an amazing 6 speaker cd player. My friend had this and the sound quality was fantastic. The sound was clear the bass was outstanding i would definterlt recommend this im thinking of buying it myself and is worth every penny. It defiently makes a diffference being with RDS/EON-125 what a difference what a product. Takes the sound and quality of music to another level. With a sound system as good as this and with a brillianr dvd player it can be well sort after so take the oppurtunity to buy it at this price its defintely reasonable enough and for the quantity of speakers. Panasonic is a well known make and you can trust them knowing that it will last and be just as good 2 years down the line. Its easy to use and has a range of wonderful features... Read review
