...This package is no comparison for ANY other systems in its price range. It is extremely loud, with a huge subwoofer for deep, tight bass. music playback is just astonishing and i have used this system for 2 parties, lots of people have complimented me on my system. i compared this to a system costing £850, and this just beat it hands down with power, bass, volume and looks/style. This looks amazing in a modern room and the picture on my panasonic 37inch lcd tv is great. When i turned up the volume, it just seemed to keep going, which is all thanks to the 1000w amplifier. Forget about Sony, Samsung and all other brands in it sleague, this is the surround sound system to have! ...Buying a Panasonic means you not only buy a decent electrical item but you pay extra money for a name. The SC-AK25 is a decent piece of equipment; it contains a 5-disc CD changer, with a digital radio tuner and two feather touch tape cassette player/recorders. It retailed at £249.99 and was purchased from a mail order company. It’s quite an attractive piece of kit but does not really compare to other models made by Sony. ...I bought this Home cinema system from curry's about 1 month ago, I paid £149.99 it has since gone back up to £189.99. After exstensive searching to find the right system for my money which was a choice between the panasonic, a sony, a samsung or a phillips to say the least I was a little torn in my decision they all offered value for money. I decided to go for the Panasonic to my delight I rushed home to try it out and I was disapointed with my choice as I had to return it the next day due to it being faulty. I was discouraged from getting the same model, however after speaking to a member of staff in curry's he played all the systems I was interested in and to say the least the Panasonic stood out imensly.
