It has outstanding picture and sound quality. It is able to create HD 1080p images from non HD sources so it really boosts the picture quality. There is very little distortion in the audio (even when voume is increased). The major benefit is that it has wireless rear speakers when compared to the previous model (panasonic sc-pt460). There is very little distortion in the audio (even when voume is increased). The major benefit is that it has wireless rear speakers when compared to the previous model (panasonic sc-pt460). It is extremely simple to use because all you have to do is put your i-pod into it. No extra i-pod or USB cables have to be connected making it take up very little space and there is no danger of tripping over wires. As far as i know it is compatible with all the different types of i-pods. Overall i think it is an excellent home cinema system.
