Advantages: 32x zoom, 30gb hard drive, light weight. very easy to use, long battery life Disadvantages: Hard to keep picture still at 32X zoom, lower quality photo's
...I Love The panasonicSDR-H20 camcorder. I've owned it for a few months now I find the picture quality very sharp and clear showing full vibrant colours. The 32X zoom on this camcorder as been worth it's weight in gold with the only downfall with the zoom is at 32X you do need a very steady hand to get the best picture there is. The still camera on the SDR-H20 is't the largest of mega pixels but it works very well in dull light as well as bright day light which is good enough for everyday photos on. The memory card that comes with the package you can fit well over 3000 photos.
Also it comes with great software for transfering & editing Video & photo on your pc overall this is a great camcorder and i'm glad i purchased it....

Because of this I sometimes find it a little difficult to use, the zoom function is a scroll wheel and it can be slightly difficult to use at times, but it is easy enough to use your other hand if needed.
The camcorder has a 2.8 LCD screen that can be used to watch what you are filming if you prefer, rather than using the eye piece. The picture on this is clear and bright and is it possible to tilt it to through to a 180 degree angle. The camera has an image stabiliser and a 10x opticall zoom for close up shots. The camcorder doubles up as a still shot camera, giving you a 3.1 megapixal resolution.
The SD card that is bundled with 2GB which gives you approximately 27 minutes...
