This portable CD player, has a crystal clear sound and lots of features, at a cost of £119, it is worth every penny. I use it on long train journeys, it is rechargable, and the battery lasts for ages before it needs charging again. It has an anti- skip function, so is especially ideal if you travel a lot. I especially like the remote control, the display is clear, and it even has a light, if you wish to use it at night. It of course has functions such as repeat play and random play, you can also repeat individual tracks. Other features include a hold function, to prevent accidently running the battery down when not in use. Also an auto off funtion, so if the unit has been in stop mode for about 10 minutes, (30 seconds if no loaded disc) it turns off to save the memory. The really cool thing is you can change the sound quality during play, to live concert effect, S-XBS this boosts the low frequency range response, or the train setting so you do not annoy other passengers while travelling.Although it is lightweight, it has a heatproof case, it is very strong ,and could withstand it if you do drop it accidently. If you are thinking of investing in a CD player, I am sure you will find the Panasonic SL-CT790, a wise choice,
It sounds good, but a little more detail would allow me to make a more informed decision....Georgina

Sorry for the FH rating, but I felt the good blunt opinion was lost in the stop start writing style, which often restarted where you had previously been and left. If you edit, drop me a line and I will rerate :)

Considering its quite short you really packed a lot in. To get a VH maybe you could elaborate on a few points as well as give more of your own opinion. Other than that, pretty good and concise. Benn
