Advantages Good sound quality/ A range of functions
Disadvantages Not totally shock proof/ Ipod/mp3 players are more "the in" thing now?

The Panasonic SLSX430 Portable CD player is a reliable piece of equipment. I used to own an Alba brand personal CD player which only cost £9.99. It was cheap, and an ideal price range for someone such as myself. It also jumped quite frequently as I walked with it - which was a major problem really considering that they are intended for walking. The SLSX430 costs £45.95p. It is not the most expensive - as personal CD players can cost well in to the £150 marker. Two AA batteries are required ( I got 2 AA batteries with it - I can't be sure all offers do though). Advantages Good Sound, Range of Functions, Rechargeable, 'Unlimited Storage'
Disadvantages Bulky Compared with MP3 Players IPOD etc

When I saw this item on eBAY I was sceptical as to its overall value but since it was cheap enough (£15 for a brand new item) I decided that nothing ventured was nothing gained. My daughter already had a Panasonic MP3 player so I wasn't completely in the dark but this little beauty turned out to be a lot more than I bargained for. The sound quality is excellent and its surprising how much control you can get fron the remote (which was a bonus).
