Advantages: stylish, up too 2 gig of memory for a very small product Disadvantages: is a pig to get music onto
I have had this mp3 player for almost 3 and a half years now and i can ohnestly say it has been fully tested ;).
the robustness of this thing cannot bebeat i have had it in almost 1-2 hours a day constant use for 3 1/2 years and has only developed one small fault and that is the text has rubbed off that is over 2000 hours of use!!
the memory format it usues is secure digital (SD) it wont accept MMC. these cards can be found ... ...use the 512 and 1 gig as on ebay the 2 gig tends to be more money than worth spending on it.
sound quality ...well that basically depends on what bite rate you are playing at i reccomend using 192 kbps as you get maximum sound quality for headphones and space
the layout is easy and simple to use, the volume controll is just above the SD card slot which is opperated by two simple buttons

The battery is put in by slipping one of the circular end points off (which is a very cleaver and effective isquise) then slipping the battery in then the end cap back on.
I use a reacharable NI-MH battery which at 800 mah will keep it going for around 8-10 hours
but here comes the big downside the software :(
although it say an AAC format do not belive it you have to re-encode all your music to a propriatory format (.sa1) and the only software htat will do this for you is real juke box which i like to define as a legal virus. The software takes almost 1 hour to encode 1 gig worth of mp3 too the sa1 format
i spent at least 4 hours of my life trying to set up all the software and configuering it to get it too work
But sying this it has served me well for the past 3 1/2 years and as far as i can see will continue to do so
Advantages: Small, lighweight, extremely fashionable Disadvantages: The download software only worked with OS's up to Windows ME. Screen is hard to see in the dark
...the mp3 whilst using Windows XP, I could only use the software on ME, but I believe that you can download new software from the panasonic website. Overall I believe that this Mp3 is worth its value, and also it is a great present or first time Mp3. ...

Advantages: Small. Easy to use. Plenty of memory. Disadvantages: Espensive. Hard to attatch to the watch case.
...can just have it loosely. Panasonic call this E-wear.
The player requires one AAA battery and with that it has a six hour stamina. It also comes with a 64mb memory card (SD card) which is no bigger than a postage stamp.
It is quite well designed, and looks nice. The buttons are easy to navigate, and there are three modes which can be changed using a jog dial on the side of the player.
A special driver and a disk with the program: "Real Jukebox" ... ...plugs into the audio socket (a square looking plug that's often found on the side of the computer, all new computers have it).
This product is suitable for most people, including children as it has no loose parts which can snap or break.
The only negative point to this MP3 i can think of is that it is quite hard to attatch to the watch case, and may require patience! ...

Advantages: Size, weight Disadvantages: Memory cost, 4 hours battery life
I bought the SD-75 to wear whilst I am in the gym. It fulfils this function perfectly. It is just like wearing a watch. The best function is the random function so you don't need to stop to press any buttons. The battery is an AAA type. You can get around 4 hours use out of one, but they are easy to get hold of. I have found the Real Juke box software that comes with it not particularly user friendly, but acceptable.
A point to note, when I upgraded ...

Manufacturer's product description
The e-wear SD Audio Player by Panasonic is a tiny portable MP3 player. The unit is smaller than 2" x 2" x 1", using a removable 64MB Multi-Media Card (MMC). This player uses AAC coding (Advanced Audio Coding) to enhance sound quality. AAC is a compression technology that provides high quality audio reproduction, yet produces smaller file sizes than standard MP3 (up to 30% smaller). The SV-SD75 also plays MP3 files without transcoding. Fitting its name, the e-wear SD Audio Player will essentially become part of your wardrobe. Choices include: neck strap, armband, and multi-purpose clip. The single AAA battery gives you up to 6 hours of tunes, and the solid state design delivers smooth playback with no skipping.
