Advantages 1080p, sd pics good, price
Disadvantages Wether to go for 42" or 50"
I was very worried about moving from a top of the range panny CRT to either a LCD or plasma once i found out that anything over 32" has to be plasma it was then a case of which one. After days research and a budget of £1500 i settled for the th42pz70, WOW is the only words to describe this TV straight out the box i had it ready to go i 10 Mins. i was also worried cus everthing ive got just now is SD but the picture quality is stunning the colours are the first thing i noticed absolutly striking. Cant wait to get my PS3.i Havent got enough words in this review for all the good points and so far i have no bad points. absolutly superb. Its been mentioned in expert reviews that the sound is lacking well if your disapointed that your not getting dolby pro logic 5.1 from a tv then either buy the z700 or a home cinema personally i dont think you get quality sound out of built in cinema systems anyway. I did see a pioneer (cant remember which one) against the panny and the pioneer was better but £700 more expensive.

I actually came to this page hoping for some proper information of this product based on the experience of real people rather than experts and people trying to sell it to me as i'm currently looking to buy a 42 inch TV myself, and although you get across that it's a good TV, i haven't really learned anything new from it that would help me in making my purchase decision. If you have any more to add to this please message me and i'll come back and read again, and re-rate! Thanks. Claire. xx
