Not a bad bit of plasma kit, a bit expensive but with panasonic you pay for the name,
The picture very good, blacks a quite decent, glare of the screen is very low, in High Def full 1080p the picture is very sharp and coulorful, movies are cool like being in the cinema but without the idoit eating skittles next to you. Sound quality is good but if your paying this for a TV you can afford home Cinema system.
I found unlike My Lg 42inch plasma this TV works really well with Xbox360 and Playstation 3 console, well up there with LCD for gaming.
Good HDMI connection and other ports, would recommend this TV, the only way your going to get anything better is to stump up sony prices

The First Plasma TV enabled to receive freesat (free digital satellite broadcastings). The Freesat is the satellite TV service soon to be launched in UK. It is the Free to air High Definition TV Channels service. The full HD 42" Plasma is the best among its peers. The great feature rich TV to be best buy though the price is a bit high.

* Full HD 42 inch plasma Screen is always going to be the best to have ... ...with the picture is just great. The picture details are more visible than any other TV, like the Shadows, the grey scale etc. The highest of the contrast ratio makes the Picture clearity such that the things seem to be moving in front of you. Its truely a real cinema experience in itself. Look and feel of TV is good with its full glossy black body. The control Bottons are hidden behind the glossy black flip cover.

The Panasonic TH-42pZ81B is an extremely impressive piece of audio visual equipment, however it dose suffer from an extremely high price coupled slight image blurring during the most frenetic action scenes, whilst several other televisions in its class can be said to suffer from similar problems they all sport considerably lower price tags than this model. In common with the rest of the range this product is also rather unfriendly to games consoles/dvd ...
