This tv is great. I like it and i know you will too. Just read on to see why:

----
LOOKS
It is silver and looks good! Even though it is a couple of years old, it still looks new! The front is rectangular and has a screen with a silver plastic panel around it (look at the pic of the front view). At the bottom, there is a flip panel and a power button. There is also the infrared panel for the remote. The flip panel has a control for volume, sharpness, brightness, colour, contrast and various other functions. It also contains sockets (yellow/red/white,etc) for digicam attachments, etc.
The tv is quite wide as you go back. It has a black protrusion for the projector, etc. This is quite big, but worth it!
The tv also comes with a stand. This is a perfect companion for the tv. It suits it well and is useful as it has space for dvd players etc on the shelf.

----
WEIGHT
This tv is very heavy and definitely needs two people to carry it! So this is quite problematic when moving it. But since you don't do this regularly, it's ok. And once it is in place, it is nice to see all your effort paid off.

----
SPECS
Dimensions (WxDxH) 79.6 cm x 51.4 cm x 51.4 cm.
SIZE = 28"!

----
FUNCTIONS
The tv has the usual scart sockets at the back (2!) for dvd players/x-boxes etc. There is an aerial socket as well.
Where this tv excels is the special functions. These include- manual/auto tuning, picture menu (extensive covering hues, etc), sound menu (extensive yet again), sleep timer, av1,av2,av3 and various other functions. All these are displayed in easy to use menu interfaces.

----
PICTURE QUALITY
The picture quality is good. You have clear, digital picture available in different screen sizes, including widescreen and 4:3 and 16:9, and other sizes. The films, programs you watch are displayed clearly.
The picture menu is quite good. You can control different aspects of picture quality quite quickly without having any problems.

----
SOUND QUALITY
The sound quality is both clear and audible at high and low levels. The graduation of the volume control is set intelligently. This tv also lets you control the different types of sound components-bass, treble, dolby, etc. This is done easily in the sound menu.

----
REMOTE
The remote has a lot of buttons. There is the usual fastext functions, channel/volume control and plenty of menu functions.
Also, when you flip the bottom there is an additional section for the panasonic video (not included).

----
INSTRUCTIONS
The instructions given were user-friendly. We found them easy to use and they were given in lots of different languages for those of you who are not fluent in english.
But, they were not needed after initial installation.

----
VERDICT
This tv is good value for money (if you put aside the fact it's not a plasma screen). If you can afford it for the £400 we paid for it a couple of years ago, buy it if you want a tv fast. But do remember there are better tvs out there, maybe even cheaper. With tvs you have to shop around!
